Read moreI really grew to like this place. I didn't love it the first few times I came, but kept coming due to the convenience. I'm not sure if the food has improved at some point, or maybe I pre-judged this place. I think it's overall a very good cafe. The food options are varied, unlike many other cafes that seem to only sell variations of eggs and bread these days. You can eat very healthily here with good protein and vegetable options. It's mostly very tasty. I like the Halloumi stack and the salmon. I feel like the food is also very good value for the quality of ingredients. The staff are always friendly with a smile on their face which is a nice relief in Sydney. The atmosphere is also bright, spacious and nicely decorated. It might not be as "hip" as some of the other cafes in the Inner West but don't let this turn you away! I have turned into a regular customer. A couple of small recommendations to the cafe: Do more with the avocado than just offering some plain slices of it (maybe smash it a bit and at least as some salt and pepper, or herbs) Some of the foods are very under salted which makes them taste bland. Consider adding a bit of salt to things such as roasted tomatoes, poached eggs, avocado etc. Some foods' flavour can be significantly improved with a...
Read moreSat down at table 13 (infront of the counter) for 15 minutes but never got approached by staff, never got asked if I would like to order some food or drink, I just sat there for 15 minutes and decided to leave as a result. The cafe was half empty, majority of customers already eating so it would be very easy for someone to approach me - it seems I needed to order at the counter, yet nobody told me (or greeted me) as I walked into the cafe, no signs on the table telling me to do so (and no menu either!) so you would reasonably expect a staff member to tell me.. nope! Even more annoying when some staff are actually going to customers tables to take away used plates etc. Its a shame having to write this because I have eaten here several times before (a couple of years ago, before I relocated from Ashfield) and the food is good, its a very pleasant cafe but today's service was non-existent for me. On previous occasions they have been friendly and approach you but not today. Please take note owners, customer service is key in...
