I can skip days of my life this afternoon because I got my drama fix! The girls behind the counter were having an obvious disagreement and the one on coffees was ringing the bell way too much. I've worked in hospitality and no one dings the bell for each item they put down, it's at the end of the order. And apparently there were a lot of teas ordered while I was there so ALOT of unnecessary dinging. To top it off just before I left the girl on coffee started arguing with the guy in the kitchen from coffee area to kitchen. From what I could gather it was about the other girl. The body language 😂 hands on hips. The erratic movements. It was all very entertaining tbh. But seriously you spend so much time at work, go somewhere where you enjoy going every day. My coffee was really good and my cake too. Sadly served with wooden cutlery even though I was sitting down. Would go back just for the entertainment, although won't be back due...
Read moreThe food was average and the service today wasn't great - waitresses were quite morbid and multiple tables were not wiped down including ours. I ordered an eggs benedict with smoked salmon - it was meant to be served on a croissant however they served it on English muffins and didn't tell me before. The hollandaise sauce wasnt too bad though. My friend had the beef burger and unfortunately found the pattie a bit bland. The best part was the chips, they were really good!!
Other perks include its close proximity to the toddler play space which is good for 2.5 years and under, and the cafe was quite spacey for prams.
I personally find the three beans at chatswood chase much better in terms of service and food, but I'm still keen to try the warringah three beans again and I'm hopeful the service and food...
Read moreSeveral months ago I went to Three Bean Cafe and ordered a coffee and toast during my lunch-break. After a 20 min wait I asked why was it taken so long and was told the kitchen staff was on his lunch-break. I demanded a refund and vowed never to go back. Today I decided to give the Three Bean Cafe another chance, this time I ordered a coffee and a sandwich which was already made and was visible on the shelf. My coffee arrived after 5 minutes and when I looked to see if my sandwich was coming next I observed the kitchen staff sweeping the floor and taking out the rubbish for a full 15 min, it was obvious no-one was attending to my order. I ended up having to ask for my sandwich to be wrapped as I had to go back to work. I definitely will Never go to the Brookvale Three Bean Cafe again their service...
