I bought some almond croissants, a cinnamon cronut, a berry croissant and a mango and cream cone/doughnut from here. I gave them a fair go. The almond croissants were hard and burnt to the point where the burnt taste came through and was gross. The cinnamon cronut was super dry and flaked everywhere. There was so much cinnamon (yes, I expected cinnamon but it needs to be balanced) it was incredibly overpowering and wooden in flavour. The mango and cream cone/doughnut thing was okay. The cake itself was fresh and well cooked but the filling was sickly sweet. I'm going to give it the benefit of doubt and assume some people are into that artificial sweet taste. After spending about $35 on 5 pastries, can't say I'll...

Delicious Almond Croissants, they are soft and gooey in the middle and then crispy and toasty on the outside. I also recommend their mushroom and cheese pastry. I’ve found some of their pastries like the cinnamon scroll and chocolate croissants to be dry (if you’re set on those they have decent coffee) If you get there close to open time you can get them when they’re fresh and still warm, omfg it’s so good. There’s not really a good place to sit in the bakery if you’re looking to study or chill for a bit. I enjoy taking my pastry and coffee down by the water which is about a 5 minute walk away, it’s very scenic and a nice way to...

The female manager of the shop was extreme rude. She came out twice and asked us to leave the table while my 7 year old daughter is having the bakery from their shop. I was also giving my 8 months old baby with snack and I put some take away food on the table. She said we are not allowed to have hot food there. What? I told her I am packing up, she had a disgusting smirk on her face then turned around and said some insulating words. My daughter was shaking and thought she has done something wrong. By the way, there were 2 empty tables next to us and the shop was not busy at all.

Worst...

I'll be honest, I wanted to hate it because the pastries here are quite expensive compared to other bakeries I've visited. I paid around $12 for these 2 pastries. However, I was pretty impressed by the matcha croissant. The croissant dough is decadently layered and flaky, while the matcha filling is smooth and custardy while not being too sweet. I'll consider returning to try some of the other treats - the taro croissant and the tarts look tasty!

3.5/5. Decent bakery serving great coffee from Single O. Had the pain au chocolat ($5.2) and the wholemeal ham and cheese roll ($4.5). Pain au chocolat was decent, could be a bit more buttery. Layers were a tad dry and on the crunchier side. The wholemeal ham and cheese roll was pretty small, almost had no difference to a regular roll. Bun was pretty soft which was great. However, a great option of bakery to have in Rhodes.
