My friends and I had some of the worst service in a restaurant I think I have ever had, which is a shame as this is the third time I have been here with the same friend.
We booked for 6.45pm and had a show to get to at 8pm so plenty of time to eat you would think. We were seated and had a quick look at the menu before our server (young blonde man) took our entree order as we needed some time to decide on the mains. He then came back to take our drink and mains order and our entrees and my friends salad came out which was completed by roughly 7.10pm.
Both other times I have been to the restaurant the mains where out on the table within 10 mins from ordering, so by 7.30pm we were starting to worry a bit where the rest of our meals where. I then asked the server how long our meals where going to take as we had 30 mins to get to the show. He then went to the counter and rushed into the kitchen, giving the impression the order hadn't been sent through or had been forgotten about. 5 mins later he came and apologised and said it was due to an influx of uber eats orders, restaurant only had three tables with patrons and in my opinion in house should take priority over online.
I then overheard the lady (who I'm assuming was a manager) say I swapped the table number on that order as you had them on the wrong one. No apology was given by the manager until almost 10 mins later when instead of coming up to the table to apologise she yelled it across the restaurant. My friend wasn't eating her salad as it was tasteless and missing the chicken so we asked for it to be taken of the bill which was done.
At 7.40pm our main meals x3 pasta dishes arrived, while these were pretty tasty we now had approximately 10 mins to scoff down piping hot pasta. We managed to get most of the food down but felt like we were very rushed due to the food taking so long to arrive. This was not a pleasant experience.
My friend went up to pay while we quickly finished our food. She asked for some sort of compensation due to the poor service and how long the meals took but was refused. I didn't think this was good enough so went up to the manager and staff and explained all of the above to them. The manager couldn't even look up from her laptop for two mins to handle my complaint. Once again we were dismissed and no accountability was taken by the manager and staff. As we were leaving we said we wouldn't return to which the staff yelled out across the restaurant "good, we don't want you back here, you're not welcome".
An incredibly disappointing experience from a restaurant we had previously enjoyed both the food and the service from.

Read moreJust went there sitting and waiting for my friend to join me. The capacity is capped at 10 people because of COVID-19 restrictions. My friend went out to get some wine and while he went out they let two other customers in. While we were waiting for them to come and get our orders, my friend came back and the owner came to us and decided to kick us out instead of the two people they had let in by mistake. He kept telling us that our supposedly $10 profit of purchase won't compensate with the $5000 that he's going to he charged for the penalty. Buddy, it's not my bloody mistake if you let in extra people and asking your already sitting customers to leave! You're rude and lack manner and that's why your business is sinking. You have the least approval in the whole Enmore road. Thankfully went to the Japanese kitchen right across the road and got served with respect and kindness unlike your lack of manners attitude.

So two years after I left the above review my partner convinced me to go to this place again.
Long story short, I ordered their lasagne and it turned out to be cold in the core while the plate was sizzling hot. You know when that happens? When you leave a frozen lasagne you bought from Coles too long in the microwave.

Read moreI'll start my review with the stealing this place seems to do. I was overcharged by what seems to be the owner lady. She added the bill and quickly gave me a total. I paid and then checked and yes, my intuition was correct. Overcharged by $8.
After I returned to let her know, she made excuses for some extra we had (not true) and a credit card surcharhe and then said in a patronizing voice "don't worry, I'll give your $2 back".
Not $2, $8.
Reading reviews of this place it seems they do this regularly' stealing money from their customers. Not ethical and, in fact, illegal.
On top of that, no tax invoice. Hmm dodgy.
The food: Very very average. Not bad but just plain average.
Service: The young girl was lovely. She really tried hard but plainly was struggling. But thanks for making the effort.
Atmosphere: This was lovely because we had a table outside. I loved it. Top marks for that. And clean table. Well done there.
Overall: When someone steals from me, I will never forgive nor forget. This restaurant stole from me. You do not deserve to be in business when you trade like that, there is no excuse.
