The worst customer service while taking my order exacerbated by rudest older male barista Iāve ever encountered.
Ordered 2 iced mochas for $13.20 and got a side of attitude with my order. When you present someone with 2 drinks half filled with foam on top that look like a pathetic attempt to recreate a blended drink, nothing near a frappe and you are quizzed whatās this, āYour iced mocha thatās how we do itā is not adequate.
When I ask to have real iced mochas made and you simply tell me āWell thatās what you ordered and thatās what you getā isnāt good enough.
When a customer asks for a replacement or refund youāre not in a position to argue, so, how about you just donāt.
Just a small FYI:
The Australian Consumer Law sets out consumer rights that are called consumer guarantees. These include your rights to a repair, replacement or refund as well as compensation for damages and loss and being able to cancel a faulty service.
Your service is attrotious and your products arenāt fit for purpose. What you describe and what you gave me are worlds apart. You should be ashamed of the customer service you provide, truely pathetic.
Youāre dealing with customers who have most likely all just gotten off 10+ hours of international flights and you havenāt a single idea how to provide any sort of decent customer service or in my experience, a decent coffee too.
Canāt say I wasnāt shocked to see 44 crappy reviews at all. What a joke. Get your act together or move out and let someone whoās actually interested in providing a level of customer service you arenāt able to move in.
Stay away from this place. Mc Donaldās has far better coffee options and no 1.5% surcharge fee for using your card like every human...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExtremely rude staff members. I was given a table tracker. Waited at the table I chose, a lady staff walked to me and asked, "number 41?" I responded with a "yes" and a nod. She then said "oh my God". Surprised by her rude attitude, I asked about the table tracker. She wasn't feeling sorry, because she responded by saying "no, but didnt you hear me call you so many times?". FYI, I barely got off the plane so my hearing wasn't that great. I complained to a few other staff members at the cashier/counter and they responded by saying "oh she's been looking for you for a long time". I didn't want to argue further because obviously they are supportive of her behaviour. A few things to think about: 1. Don't bother giving a table tracker if you're going to yell out my number. 2. The cafe isn't that big, don't be mad at me if you are doing a bad job searching in such a small area. 3. Change the system to "take your food from the counter even if you're dining in" if you're lazy to search. P.S. I know this branch is at the airport so you don't really care about regular customers since Sydney airport is busy so you'll get customers anyway. But this is just really...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen he called out our number for 2 coffees, I went to pick up the 2 cups that were ready side by side. Before I could pick them up, he shouted at the top of his voice "HEY HEY HEY, ONE OF THOSE IS FOR ANOTHER ORDER!!". I said, you don't have to shout, that's not good customer service. He said, I wasn't shouting. I said, "HAY YAY HAY..." (mimicking him at his voice level), and continued "that's shouting, you need to fix your attitude" then walk away with our coffees and got to my seat. I could overhear the next customer telling him that he was rude, he said " I wasn't rude, some idiot was here a moment ago....", not knowing that I was still there sitting where he couldn't clearly see me but I could clearly see and hear him. I walked back to him and said "That person you're calling idiot is me, I'm still here and can hear you. As I said before, you need to fix your attitude." He still didn't apologize and said he was talking to his colleague, and very rudely dismissed me. I like to see them lose business so they get the message. I took a photo making sure they can see me, and shared it on Facebook for others to be cautious. Steer clear...
