Visited Wednesday 26th October

The service was a big failure. It isn't the first time I've experienced it here and it won't be the last.

The workers only cared about chatting with each other and flirting etc. They're not here to work. Why do you need two to three staff to clean a table?

We walked in to wait for a table, no-one bothered to acknowledge our presence. We sat ourselves down at a table, no-one brought us a menu or tea or cups or anything. Had to walk up to the counter to ask for it. The lady who brought the tea cups and cutlery, weren't even bothered to bring us the teapot. Wth! Yeah we asked for it again.

After we ordered, they didn't even bring us any condiments. Again we had to try and flag someone down to get them.

The food was mediocre but expensive and I didn't think it was value for money. It was all about convenience, at almost 8pm for our late dinner.

The food had shrunken like most eateries and price increased. It was ok before they moved into Dooley's. Now it's just going downhill.

One guy sat by himself waiting to be serviced for probably about 5 minutes, then just got up and walked out. The workers were too busy chatting while cleaning tables.

The owner hired too many inexperienced staff who are simply not there to work. They always talk in Vietnamese but speak broken English, and they're young people too. You need an experienced staff (or two) to supervise them and to ensure they are putting...

I’ve been to this place many times and we used to have a family member work here but in my honest opinion, the food doesn’t taste authentic and the taste wasn’t worth the money. First of all, the service is TERRIBLE. The waiters are NOT trained and so disorganised, communication between them is so bad that they FORGOT about our order. We were waiting on one dish and when we saw that dish come out and the waiter ask the manager where it was meant to go, they pointed in our direction but the other waiter gave it to the table next to us which was the manager’s friends - also understandable if they ordered same dish. However, we have chased up our order 2-3 times and each time they just say ‘coming soon’ but never actually investigate. I assume they just say that to everyone who ask and disregard it. We were done eating everything that came but still haven’t received that one dish. When we told them at the pay counter they realised they have sent that order to the wrong table but only if they had investigated and...

Real price as of today for pho with rare beef and meat balls $17.50, not what's on their website $16. First impressions was this could be real good food here. We asked for table of 8, got seats and got ask to order even though our colleagues still at carpark.

Our small plate of beansprout got thrown in front of us with it spilled out the waitress didn't blink just walked off. No sauces or nothing have to ask her for them she was pissed annoyed even. Our bill came even before we ate. Not only they don't wait for everyone to arrive to bring our food out but also they got our 2 dishes added to the larger bills. Charged the 2 dishes again. Is only the 1 waitress that was not pleasant at all ruined from the start of my experience.

Please update your menu...

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I felt the need to share our experience. My husband and I had the brisket noodle soup and Hainanese chicken rice for dinner last night, and unfortunately, we both experienced stomach pain that evening and have had ongoing diarrhea today. We’re not sure which dish caused it, but it’s clear something was wrong. The food seemed overly salty or full of MSG our throats were extremely dry after eating, and digestion felt really off. On top of that, the portion of meat and noodles in the pho has noticeably changed. If you truly care about your customers, please make sure to prepare food in a clean and hygienic way. This is not an experience we ever want to go through again.

First time trying eating at this Vietnamese restaurant inside Dooleys Catholic Club in Lidcombe, and it was a good experience! The food was fresh and flavorful, with generous portions at very reasonable prices. Can choose to up size for a extra cost. The pho was delicious and perfectly balanced, and the spring rolls were crisp and tasty. Had order few different dishes and overall the food are good. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a good spot for a casual or family meal. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese food without breaking the bank!
