Woolloomooloo Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Sydney

We have frequented this place for many months, getting the same thing all the time. A works burger and scallops. Sadly we won’t ever be back after the experience tonight. Not only were the scallops overcooked and dripping in oil, the burger looked like a MacDonald’s cheeseburger and was missing items. It was half the size it usually is. If that wasn’t bad enough, when my wife called to speak to them, she was met with a dismissive attitude and an excuse that said “we have order after order” So that means they were too busy to give us decent food tonight after being good customers for so long. A real shame as they were so good until now. We just can’t go back after this.

Thought I'd get take out and go sit near the opera house. Honey chicken sounds good right? WRONG. This place was probably the worst food I've had in traveling over four months. It's not disgusting or not fresh, the man inside looked like a good hardworking chef. It was just incredibly bland and I wish I chose anything else. I wouldn't recommend it.

For the Honey Chicken it taste like generic Chinese chicken fried with zero seasoning or sauce. Not even a slight sweet flavor. I wanted to return it but I had already gone too far.

Just ordered mine and my partners lunch through doordash for delivery just wanted to say a huge thank you to chefs at Woolloomooloo Fish and chips everything was cooked perfect and arrived on time at perfect temperature catered to my no lettuce and sauce comments on the burger 10/10 would highly recommend and will be ordering again in the future and an added bonus was the nice little message that was left on my delivery bag it actually made my partners day and gave him a smile so thank you much...
