This is truly a little gem in King's Cross. The staff are friendly and attentive, the chefs are friendly too, but most importantly have finely honed their skills.

I'm a bit of a gyoza addict, and it's rare to find a place that does 6 Gyoza for around $9 of real quality. The chicken and pork gyoza are fresh and perfectly cooked, the sauce that accompanies is perfectly balanced.

My partner had the Tonkotsu ramen and she loved it. The Broth was rich and flavourful and the noodles were super fresh and perfectly cooked. The pork literally melts in your mouth and has a super nice almost "char" taste to it.

I had the Chicken Yakitori with rice and curry. No doubt the nicest I've ever had, the glaze was perfect and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The rice was sticky and really fresh, the curry was fantastic and really well balanced. I also had a White grape "hard seltzer" type drink (I've forgotten the name) which is definitely worth a go.

Superb people, great atmosphere and fantastic value for money. We have loads more to try - Karagee chicken, the Wagyu ramen and the teriyaki chicken - the list goes on.

We will definitely be regulars here. You won't know unless you try...

From our arrival until we finished, Kelvin made us feel very welcome and looked after our group with a smile and a laugh, making this a very nice evening out with friends. Xibao Ramen House is designed for small tables (think 2-4 people, but Kelvin accommodated our party of 6 (outside) without any hesitation. The interior decor is fun and it feels like you stepped into a small ramen shop in Japan. The food is a selection Japanese/Chinese dishes and some of the dishes are a fusion of both cuisines - flavours are fresh and nicely prepared. One example is the Unagi bowl - grilled Japanese eel with a teriyaki sauce over fried rice and served with small Japanese omelettes (2). Our group also tried other dishes including the pork katsu curry, yakitori chicken, okonomiyaki, chicken kara-age (well prepared) and the unagi ramen. We had one of our group who can't eat pepper or chili and the chef was very accommodating and made sure the dishes that person ordered didn't include these spices. Portion sizes are filling and with starters we shared there was more than enough food for us. Xibao Ramen House is a welcome addition to the food scene in Potts Point and convenient to...

Unfortunately one of the worst ramens I’ve had to date. Watery with a very underwhelming depth of flavour. Also some unusual ingredients you’d never find in Japanese ramen but each to their own. The service was welcoming but too much. The gent on the floor needs to be able to read the floor/patrons better and understand who’s there to chat and who just wants to be left alone and enjoy their meal peacefully. The wagyu unagi sando missed the mark pretty big. I’d be lucky if there was 80gms of protein in that thing. The ratio of protein to bread was not good and the bread unfortunately wasn’t fresh lacking that beautifully fluffy velvet milk bread style Japanese bread we all know and like. Yeah so for $25 it was pretty outrageous The only saving grace was the teriyaki skewers which were bang for buck and cooked perfectly with the right amount of glaze with the side of satay perfectly balanced. Thank god😭 Unfortunately won’t be back but they have seemed to be getting good reviews so they’re doing something right I guess. Still wish them the...

Wow, what an incredible Ramen experience! The broth was absolutely outstanding, and the portion of Ramen was super generous. Every bite was a flavor explosion! And let me tell you about the karaage chicken—it's unlike anything I've ever had. The crispy outer layer gives way to the most tender, juicy inside. Total mic drop moment right there! I can't wait to come back and explore the rest of their menu. This newly opened Ramen spot has a limited but super tasty menu that will keep you coming back for more. The service is so friendly, with smiles everywhere you look! The dining area is immaculate, with a crystal-clear view of the kitchen, and there’s even outdoor seating to enjoy your meal al fresco. Just a heads-up, parking can be a bit tricky since the restaurant is in a bustling area. But trust me, it’s worth it! I highly recommend this must-visit Ramen haven in Kingscross!
