The best Korean-Chinese restaurant in Sydney!! The staff greeted us as soon as we came in the place. We were led to one of the empty tables near the cashier as half of the tables were full already not long after they opened for lunch service. We ordered the signature jajjangmyeon, kkanpungi and jjampong. All the foods arrived shortly after and they were all cooked fresh to order so piping hot. The crispy fried chicken in sweet and spicy sauce is delicious as the chicken pieces are tender inside and crispy on the outside. The sweet sticky and spicy sauce coated each piece beautifully and didn’t taste too overwhelming with spiciness. The black beans noodles was full of umami flavour, packed with onions, cabbage and pork in black bean sauces that has been stir fried over high heat to obtain that smoky flavours from the wok. The spicy seafood noodles soup was full of seafood (shrimp, mussels, octopus and squid) with plenty of veggies and mushrooms. The broth is well balanced and tastes quite spicy and flavourful but not too overly powerful. All three dishes were beautifully cooked and we were very satisfied after the meal (even got some leftovers for takeaway).

This Korean-Chinese restaurant have been around for a long time but me and my friend gave it a try for the first time one Saturday dinner. It turnout to be a good choice. We walk-in a little before 6pm and the place is packed. It was a bit confusing on where to ask for table as it has two levels of seating. But manage to find a friendly staff on the top level to get us a table. We ordered the fried chicken with sweet & spicy sauce, noodle and soy bean sauce and a seafood and vegetable on rice. All tasted very good especially the noodle with soy bean sauce. Nice thick flavorful sauce. The portions are very big- we ordered a small fried chicken but that dish can split into two takeaway boxes at the end of our meal. The decor is quite old school but very comfortable despite having so many tables. It gets noisy with the packed restaurant so not ideal if you are looking to have an intimate chats with friends. Note you will need to walk up a few flights of stairs to get to the top level as there is no elevators.

An ole favourite; Koreans come here for all the familiar and delicious Korean adaptations of Chinese comfort dishes like noodles in spicy seafood soup, black bean noodles, seafood fried rice, sweet and sour pork (etc). I’ve been coming for decades (my, how time flies) and while the menus have become glossier, complimentary desserts such as toffee sweet potato have been dropped and so forth, the restaurant is essentially the same: one can expect a plain but comfortable interior, polite and efficient staff, buzz of happy diners enjoying the generous, delicious food that can always be relied on to just hit the spot.

Shocking experience. They gave us a bottle of water that had vinegar in it. My daughter and I drank a lot of it, thinking it was water as we were very thirsty. When we let them know about it they were not very apologetic but going confused and asking us why is there vinegar in the water bottle? which made us feel more upset. I recall my experiences with other restaurants where most of them were going like oh no how come? I'm very sorry, are you okay? But this place, the staff's reactions were like a bit no empathy, and no sense of apology, their way of handling the situation made us feel worse. We thought of leaving the place right away but just stayed because our kids love the sweet and sour pork. My daughter and I were feeling very uncomfortable after drinking some vinegar that went on for like 4 hours. I would say food was overall expensive. The spicy noodle soup was a bit blend, tasted like the noodle didn't absorb the soup much so the noodle and soup tasted separate. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant that cannot handle mistakes and apologetic...
