We visited Biwon Eastwood and had to wait about 20 minutes as the place was packed—definitely a sign of its popularity! The chilli garlic chicken was the star of the show, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. We also really enjoyed the Jajangmyeon, which had a rich and comforting taste.
The chilli prawns, while super crunchy, were a bit too sweet for our liking. If the sweetness was toned down, it would be a big hit. On the other hand, the chicken fried rice was light, fluffy, and full of flavor—definitely a great side to pair with other dishes.
We noticed many people ordering their fried chicken, so that’s on our must-try list for next time. The portion sizes here are massive—one main can easily be shared by four people, which explains the expensive pricing. For two mains, two sides and 3 soft drink it costed $140.
A special mention to the lady who served us—she was extremely friendly and welcoming! We forgot to ask her name, but she truly made our experience even better. Overall, a great spot for Korean-Chinese...
Read moreWe had lunch at this famous Chinese-Korean place and ordered black-bean noodle + seafood noodle jhampong soup with sweet-sour fried pork cutlets (tang soe yoek). We also ordered additional plate of chilly garlic fried chicken (kampong-gi). They're all quite good, and we love the texture of the noodles which were firm and bit chewy.
On second visit of dinner, we tried their cream saewoo or prawns and seafood fried-rice with black-bean sauce. Both dishes were nice dishes to enjoy.

Read moreBiwon Eastwood is a wonderful humble Korean Chinese (although I didnt really see many Chinese dishes) restaurant on the railway parade side of eastwood station.
The service was lovely as the two beautiful ladies served us with haste speed and gratefulness.
The food however is a little overpriced, 41 for a share dish (see 3rd photo) of sweet and sour pork with an underwhelming amount of pork to share was the first warning. But the beef and noodles soups we bought lacked the main ingredient! There was at most 60 80 grams of beef with the rest being mostly noodles and vegetables. The price for the soups were pretty good ranging from 20 25 aud
Overall this place is pretty good but just beware of the pricing, (go with alot of people to...
