I had an incredible experience dining at Tracks on Point in Strahan. The food was absolutely amazing, starting with the fresh and vibrant salad—it was evident that only the freshest ingredients were used. Every bite was a delight!

Though I’ve never been a fan of burgers, I decided to give theirs a try, and I’m so glad I did. The grilled chicken burger was phenomenal. The chicken was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Even the chips were a standout—they were fried to perfection in fresh oil, and you could taste the quality in every bite.

While the food took about 25–30 minutes to arrive, the wait was completely worth it. The care and attention to detail in the preparation truly made a difference. The staff was friendly and made sure we felt welcome throughout our visit.

Tracks on Point exceeded my expectations with their high-quality food and attention to flavor. I’m so happy I decided to try their menu and would recommend it to anyone visiting Strahan. Whether you’re a burger lover or not, this place has something special for everyone. I can’t...

Underwhelming visit today. Went for lunch and ordered poached eggs on toast. It was literally 2 eggs on dry toast (I am dairy free so explains no butter for toast) but what made it worse is that my husband saw the waiter come out when our food was under the hot plate, look at it, look at the docket, look over at our table and walk away back into the kitchen! My husband then got up and went and got the food himself by which time my eggs had gone hard and therefore were dry and didn’t run over the toast as planned. I then went to order pancakes and waffles which was the main reason for our visit as I’m gluten free as well as dairy free and the menu offered GF option and all but 1 of the pancakes options were labelled vegan (so therefore dairy free). On checking when ordering I was told that they aren’t vegan and the menu needs updating and therefore my only option was banana bread. Very disappointing and my bread was served with a butter portion even after all the discussion, and made me very wary as to whether I was actually served the GF option....

I can honestly say that the burger I had this evening was one of the best I have ever eaten. Top quality, fresh ingredients with a delicious sauce and a nicely toasted bun. The chips would have earned top marks from me as well, except that they were served only just warm. The reason for the downgrade on the chips is that chips should be served hot, not just warm. We saw our plates of chips sitting in the food warmer quite a long while before our burgers were added, and the mark of only two stars for service was because our orders took just on one hour to be served! This interminable wait is unfair on customers but I don’t think that the blame can be sheeted home against the staff, who were polite and helpful. I just think the restaurant was understaffed. While myself and my four fellow diners enjoyed the food, ambiance and very reasonable pricing of our meals, we all agreed that the time we had to wait for our meals was unacceptable. We wanted to stay for dessert but, when we enquired about the lead time, we were told it would be 45 minutes and...

We went here Friday night for dinner which was amazing. Generous portions, friendly staff and very accommodating of dietaries etc. Only downside was pickles listed for one of the burgers was just plain cucumber. Apart from this super enjoyable dinner. We went back Saturday night super excited to try the all day breakfast to find they were closed for a private function. Staff were quite rude and dismissive when we asked about takeaway options. Understand they probably had a lot on but there was no sign up the night before saying that they were closed on Saturday and no signs up that night. Needless to say we were quite disappointed given very few food places open in Strahan in winter and the way staff dismissed us just because we weren't part of the obvious wealthy function clientele. The previous night they had not answered the phone when we called to check they were open so no real way of knowing opening hours. A shame because we had such a positive experience Friday night and were excited to try different menu items.

We found this cafe as we did a West Coast Wilderness Railway experience and it is such a great spot for a bite to eat before or after the train. It was also super cosy and an escape from the rain to relax by the fireplace. The staff were super lovely, especially Sandy, and all the food was delicious and well priced. What surprised me most was the soup of the day which was a Thai Carrot soup. It was amazing!! I was so blown away by it that the amazing chef even gave me the recipe!!
