Laid back, comfortable roughness and perfect for what we needed. We booked one of the Adventure Suites with our 6 month old infant. There was just enough room in the bedroom for the supplied cot and some good storage to unpack our suitcases. We were kept cozy with good heaters in bedroom and living space, and the owner was very responsive when we had questions about booking with a baby, and a minor problem while we were staying. We made good use of the camp laundry and dryer! We loved the location being between Strahan and Regatta Point, it made us feel like more of the Gordon was open to us!

You won’t regret booking one of these chalets. They are so comfortable and the staff go out of their way to make your time there special. My favourite things about Gateway to the Gordon were The basket of goodies and breakfast options. Two bath mats! Hot shower with great pressure and good shower heads. Good quality and supply of toiletries. Fabulous view. Free guest laundry. Smart TV. Friendly kitties.

Highly recommended. The arrival to the accommodation was seamless and very convenient. Room was clean and extremely comfortable with a wonderful array of breakfast options. The view was beautiful from the room; we travelled with our dog “Taco” and he was very welcomed and accommodated for. The location was excellent and not far from town, waterfall and walkway. Definitely deserve a 5 star ⭐️ rating.

We booked "The Loft' for one night as part of a tour around Tasmania. First impressions were not great. The steps to The Loft passed an area which was littered with piles of detritus, furniture and personal belonging strewn outside what presumably was one of the accommodation rooms, further litter in the form of an empty drink bottle was visible under the staircase. The building is clearly not new, or of particularly modern style but it was at least large and quite bright with a nice view from the balcony towards the water. Equipped with a large bed, a small area with microwave etc and a bathroom with whirlpool bath it was at least comfortable. Generally clean but some of the grout in the bathroom is in need of renewing. Our initial impressions were reinforced by the sights of further litter in the form of empty plastic bottles and boxes lying around the grounds. Reception was not open at all during our visit but a peer through the window revealed an office cluttered and messy. Overall an OK stay but a place clearly in need of a little tlc and attention to detail. It would take no effort at all to clear away the litter and this would make a big difference to the overall feel of the place. Will look elsewhere if we return...

My husband and I spent a night here this past weekend for our first wedding anniversary. Overall it was a great place to stay. We stayed in the loft above reception. The room was very spacious and tidy, the shower & spa were great and the bed was comfy. We had decided to cook our own meal for tea rather than go out, however discovered the bbq on our little private balcony was out of gas. This was no worries at all - a quick phone call to staff and in no time there was a very friendly and polite gentleman knocking on our door with a new gas bottle. We had no other interactions with any staff whilst there and didn’t order breakfast for the morning (although only because we forgot to by the 9pm cut off) so I can’t comment on either of those things. If I was going to make any recommendations it would be to better maintain the property - there seemed to be a lot of junk and rubbish laying around and floating in the little pond. And at least one more glass in the room is definitely needed! We were mixing our own drinks for the evening and had to take turns using the one appropriate...

After a day at cradle mountain and a scenic drive to Strahan, our studio was cosy and welcoming with amazing views. It was clean and tidy with the perfect amount of space for our family of four. Our youngest called dibs on the bottom bunk, but thankfully the eldest was happy to have the top bunk with a view. There is a very convenient laundry space, but my wife took my bad advice not to save her place next in line with her bag of laundry. When we arrived back from dinner, a sour thing putting their things into all of the available machines announced “I’m sorry darl’ I have 3 bags holding my spot” nice. Who would think I would have chronicles of laundry wars, but here we are. This is no reflection on the gorgeous facilities. In the morning we woke to a lovely dawn and a rainbow. The breakfast was essential cereals and milk, with condiments with a perfect amount of variety. We will book here again. Thank you for the...
