4 Pines Torquay is basically what happens when someone asks, “What if we made paradise, but with beer?” Spoiler: they nailed it.

The beers taste like they were brewed by actual wizards who moonlight as surfers. Every sip whispers, “Forget your problems, mate, you live here now.” Dangerous, but delicious.

The food? Outrageous. Whoever invented the menu clearly had one mission: make diners question why they ever ate anywhere else. I ordered the fish tacos and honestly considered proposing to them. Still waiting on an answer.

The staff are suspiciously friendly. Like, too friendly. I kept waiting for the catch, but nope—they just keep smiling and handing you pints like it’s some kind of coastal cult. If this is a cult, sign me up.

Really disappointing meal. Firstly 75min wait for food from ordering was ridiculous . I could understand a slight delay as it was busy but 1 hour and 15mins is taking the p155.

Food came out and was moderately warm, we ordered a Parma, Lamb roti, kids nuggets and kids burger. The lamb roti was "slow cooked" which was as dry as a boot with no flavour but thank god for the tub of tzatziki on the plate to make up for it. The Parma's were overcooked and over salted, not sure how you ruin a parma but it was achieved. The kids nuggets were inedible, an adult couldnt chew them let alone a child. The burger however was well cooked, thank christ my daughter didnt eat all hers.
