The Real Deal! Authentic Italian pizzas with delicious handmade pizza bases made fresh the old fashioned way- you can watch the dough being made and thrown in the air to shape it just like in Italy, and the taste is far superior to the pre-made and/or frozen bases the other pizza shops use. As for the toppings-wow! You get loads of fresh, real, generously-sliced ingredients on delicious home-made pizza sauce and top quality cheese that oozes with flavour. There's none of that rubbery, tasteless stuff here, and unlike the other pizza shops, one slice of Traralgon Pizza's masterpieces will leave you feeling full and satisfied! You can clearly see each of the toppings piled up generously on their pizzas, whereas the usual pizza stores typically only give you a barely-there amount of toppings which are difficult to distinguish from each other-let alone identify. Likewise other pizza stores make their pizzas on ready-made bases that are either oily, full of air, or taste of preservatives and other chemicals commonly used in commercial manufacturing. Traralgon Pizza make their bases fresh to order by hand which give them a freshly baked, wood-fired pizza oven crispness and wholesomeness which is lower in cholesterol and lower G.I than the other stores bases. This business is locally owned, employs all ages of the community (not just teens who are discarded the moment they can no longer be paid the absolute minimum of wages), they are not a franchise owned by overseas multinational corporations, and they sponsor and support local sports teams and other groups in need from the local community. Their staff are friendly, very experienced and/or well trained, professional, and committed to maintaining exceptional standards of service, quality and authentic Italian cookery. Honestly, these are the best pizzas I have ever had in all of Australia and the closest thing to visiting...

I don't often write reviews but this store deserves one... I was passing through Traralgon and needed dinner for myself and kids - everyone wanted Pizza so i picked from one of the bunch of pizza places available - I was really not expecting much at all from a Traralgon pizza store but crikey was I wrong! I was served (and my Pizza was made) by the cutest little old Italian couple - they were probably in their mid to late 60s and it was just the two of them, husband and wife team I assume. We were there early and they probably have other employees who come in later but it was just the two of them at the time, and they were so lovely. On top of that, I cannot believe how good the pizza from this shop was - LOADED with the most fresh ingredients I've had on a pizza in ages and cooked to perfection. This was easily the best pizza I've had in over 10 years, I'm still amazed at how good it was and I got a gluten free one and it was $10 cheaper than my regular pizza place and way better. We’ve been getting takeaway from Traralgon Pizza for a while now, and it’s easily become our go to spot. From the moment you walk in or give them a call, the staff are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely care about what they do. It’s got that real local, family run feel, the kind of place where they remember your name and your order!

The pizzas are always spot on. Generous with the toppings, beautifully cooked bases, and packed with flavour every single time. Whether you're grabbing a classic like Hawaiian or something loaded like the Lot, you can taste the quality and consistency in every bite.

What really sets them apart though is the service, fast, reliable, and always with a smile. Even when they’re flat out on a Friday night, they still manage to make you feel like your order matters.
