What an unforgettable night! This little European restaurant in Cairns is truly a hidden gem. The food was so delicious we didn’t even stop to take photos – the creamy lasagna, the flavorful steak with polenta, and the dessert that ended the evening perfectly. Every dish felt made with care and passion.

The place is cozy, full of life, and even with just one staff member at the front, we were welcomed with such warmth that it felt like being part of the family. It wasn’t just dinner, it was a genuine and heartfelt experience.

One of the best things about living in Australia is being able to enjoy authentic European flavors without leaving the country. Thanks to immigration, we can travel the world through food, no passport required – and this restaurant is a perfect example of that.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Bistro Corretto, a charming new French-Italian fusion spot run by two talented Czech owners: Tina, the effortlessly warm and charismatic maître d’, and Chef Jacob, whose culinary creativity left me genuinely impressed!

Every dish that came out of the kitchen was nothing short of outstanding. Beautifully presented, thoughtfully balanced, and packed with flavour. But the true highlight of the evening? I made a special off-menu request for zabaglione, the classic Italian dessert, and to my delight, Chef Jacob whipped up a fresh serving just for me. Light, silky, and perfectly sweet...it was a dream.

Absolutely amazing. My family and I tried the market fish, a special pasta dish, the filet mignon, and the duck. Everything was prepared beautifully and cooked to perfection. The flavors were so exquisite that we all overstuffed our bellies because we couldn't stop eating. You could tell that all of the ingredients were extremely high quality. The local wine selection was wonderful as well. After everyone said they were too full for dessert I ordered one for myself and was forced to share once everyone tasted it. The service was quick, efficient, polite, and most of all very personable and fun. We had an incredible experience and would come back at least weekly if we lived in the area.
