It follows that a town with the largest fishing fleet on the South Coast should have a talent fish and chips. The go-to is The Fish Shop at Burrill Lake, by common consent the best fish and chip shop in the whole region. The flathead tails are fresh, the batter is light and crispy, the tartar is a perfect complement and sides like potato scallops, oysters and salt and pepper squid are great too. You can carry your takeaway box down to Dolphin Point for a scenic meal, but may have pelicans for dining companions. Honourable mention to Tigers Famous Fish & Chips and the Mollymook Beach Hut Cafe.

Overpriced and under served. Almost walked out when we saw the prices charged but we had eaten here before so ordered thinking the food must still be good. How wrong were we. A large serve of average chips was so small it barely fed 2, $3 fish cocktails so small there's barely any fish and some scallops so full of oil they couldn't be eaten. At $28.50 for something I would pay $18 for near home, I suggest go down to the harbour for your Ulladulla treat.

Definitely stay away from tigers fish and chips. Super expensive for what you get. $12.50 for regular chips, which they don’t even fill the box, the smallest serve ever! We would always go to Burrill fish shop which is way better but they were closed so we had no other option for fish and chips. The price is a joke especially for the serving size, totally ripping people off! Go straight to Burrill fish if you can!

We had a large group and we ordered together after being told have no fish they can grill. Kids Fish cocktails, calamari ring, 6 burgers and chips. They called our order only half the food came out my dad asked where the rest of the food was and stood at the counter waiting after another 10mins i went in to see where the kids food was when my dad was asked to leave because he was making the girl serving uncomfortable, he was waiting for the food we had order standing to the side not saying a thing. I then waited they gave us the kids food finally, we were still waiting on 2 burger we had to go back in and ask again for them and we were give 2 burger that should have been chicken burger, one was a tiger burger we were also still waiting for chip when one of the staff walked out and threw iron out table. It was a pricey menu and for the size and service not worth it. I don’t recommend going there and i think they need to get staff who can handle the summer rush which they clearly aren’t ready for. They food was nice but very small we’ll all...

Turned up at 658pm to be told this place closes at 7pm. I saw five families between 658pm and 710pm go to this place and find it was closed. Ulladulla has been suffering under covid with lockdowns etc. Why would a shop who has suffered financially like others shut before 9pm especially when there are so many people wanting to spend money to help.. I am hoping it is because they have to. We bought fish and chips two doors up at the Italian restaurant. They could not be more helpful and went out of there way to get it...
