This review was a long time coming. Their booking system is terrible. I twice requested certain tables and was assured we could have them, only on the day for them to be switched or the location in the venue completely changed. On the day of one booking I called to confirm details, the staff member told me I was inside when I had specifically requested to be outside, they changed the booking to a table outside but did not leave notes in their system or communicate with other staff so we arrived to the tables inside. A minor issue but compounded by the consistent communication failures. This particular booking spent about $400 on one table and while we were sitting eating lunch, I received a message from Deb stating I hadn’t turned up and asking to rebook. Again, poor communication. When booking again (I feel insane but yes, I did try to book again!) I was told that they will leave notes this time in the system that we want to be on certain tables - an astounding improvement! Went back another time with my kids and got served a burnt pizza, then the waitress asked to clear the table when we were clearly still eating and had ample food on the table. A few minutes later I came back from toileting my child to find our table cleared when we were one of two tables outside - not a busy day at all - and the waitress had just asked if we were finished. Clearly she was too keen to clear the table that had ample food left on it. The waitress couldn’t have cared less when I addressed her and my kids were visibly and audibly upset. When I contacted the venue about this, they were pretty nonchalant about the situation. Cut to the day before my next booking with a large group, I was emailed that the venue was closed for renovations tomorrow and they couldn’t take my booking. I have given these guys so many chances and would not recommend this place at all. The food is okay, the booking system and communication between staff are sub par and it’s amazing they have made it this far with crappy service. The only thing that is great is the kids area. 10/10 recommend the kids play area.

First time coming here. Firstly we sat out the back thinking it looked pretty cool only to here the first people leaving saying it was the worst restaurant they had ever been to so not a good start. It did smell of cat pee but tried to ignore that. When our friend went to bar to ask if he could order as QR code wasn’t working the guy with beard ( we think manager) said well your the only one it must be you ! So he showed him his phone which said (try again) only then did he agree it must be the app but was rather rude and abrasive. Whilst waiting for our food we saw a few what looked like skewers be brought out from a freezer into the kitchen come right past us ( not sure if that’s what we were served as we ordered skewered) pizza was fine but very little Italian sausage you could hardly see it I should have taken a photo ! The wait staff were very nice and helpful so no negative there . It was mainlywe were the only people out the back from around 9 pm so moved to main area. Drinks were fine . Low score mainly due to ok food and manager ( we think) his attitude was shocking and was told do by my friend A real shame for the other staff members who we had no issue with . Maybe he had a bad day but it had lead to this poor review . We won’t be back but I’m sure others will and hope this is good feed back

I've booked another table for my family for a Sunday breakfast after last week having a super time with colleagues on the Mezzanine And in taking my mate there for a quick drink after work tomorrow. This place is a rare find, and for many reasons. The staff love their jobs because they're included in developing the menus. The kids love it with the sizeable mini kitchen and arcade games out the back. The couples love it for the hideaway tables and divine rotunda up in lights. The flying soloists love it for the bar stools all around and platforms. Gen X for the diamond studded all leather sofas in front of the bottle wall. Gen Z for the plant life and cocktails. Millennials love it but they don't know why. Families love the booths and light airy vibe at the front and the option to also sit at the undercover outdoor area (yes even in stormy conditions it's good), at the garden tables-with-live-plants, with the kids in the play area right there. The atmosphere is undeniably one of the best places in the city, and the HOURS OF OPENING!!! 7:30am till LATE! Finally somewhere in Perth that doesn't close at 3pm ... AND they cater for special diets. BOOYAH

Food and atmosphere was good but horribly rude attitude from staff! Weekend brunch menu does not have any tenders+chips or pasta for kids. Our 3 year old toddler doesn't eat scrambled eggs or pancakes so we went up to the counter to ask if they could possibly prepare a serving of lunch menu at 10.30am. Was told No - fair enough.

One of us went down the road to grab a nuggets happy meal for the kid while the 4 adults each ordered a main + drinks. Nothing was said by the staff when child was eating his nuggets.

Upon clearing the cutlery, girl with pigtails was extremely rude and said we shouldn't have brought outside food. We are tried to explain that we asked the kitchen and ordered mains for everyone else in the group. But she raised her voice to interrupt us by shouting "THAT DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN BRING IT IN!" All this in front of other customers and the children. And banging the cutlery roughly too.

Please. If your staff is having a bad day, don't take it out on your customers. A polite conversation before we started eating would have been enough.

Never going back and will inform the other mums in our playgroup to stay away to avoid getting yelled...
