Anniversary Dinner at Neho, it's a casual relaxed place for dinner, the vibe is buzzy and the staff were all super friendly and helpful ❤️
We got the "Feed Me" menu. For $59 each you get three entrees, three mains and two desserts all to share. We were so super full after dinner... It was hard to breathe 😂 you get to choose one main, but everything else is decided by the chef, which I love!
We received: Entree - Macau pork sliders, kimchi and mozzarella arancini, mushroom and truffle tacos
Main - 36hr braised beef short rib rendang (our choice), chilli tamarind fried fish, roasted pumpkin with curried yoghurt side dish ( also comes with unlimited refills of rice)
Dessert - Pandan Panna Cotta with lime coconut granita, Creme Caramel custard cake with Thai milk Tea icecream.
Our outstanding favourites were the beef short rib, and Panna Cotta. My only very slight criticism is that the beef and fish mains came out quite a bit earlier than the pumpkin, and it was kind of heavy feeling - as was the rendang both having a curry gravy sauce, it would have been nice to get lighter side dish to accompany the two meaty mains. Still a very satisfying meal!
The service was super nice, very attentive, but not hovering. They were more than happy to box up left overs for us (even though we didn't expect that they would allow us to do this) I left most of the caramel cake - purely because I was tooooo full, the waiter looked really concerned that I didn't like it and insisted we take it with us "for 10pm when we will think 'I wish I would have brought that cake home' 😂" was still too full at 10pm, but I appreciate it today!
Overall, we had a lovely experience there and would recommend it for a fun...
Read moreLiam, Tom and Myself went to Neho's for dinner, it was our first time, Liam had made the booking and as such made sure to put down my allergy to Mushrooms, once we were seated the manager came up and told me that everything was being done to ensure our food was free from contact with mushrooms in any form which was reassuring and showed care for customer well being, this is the only place we have dined at that has shown this level of professionalism in regards to customer food allergies, we ordered the tea smoked duck, Nyonya chicken, rendang beef and Jasmin rice, for drinks tom had a beer, Liam scored a free beer and I had dry ginger ale, a nice touch was the slice of lemon which gave the ginger ale a lovely taste, the dishes arrived, we were surprised with the portions of duck and chicken, they did not seem to be enough however once we started to eat, the dishes combined with the rice was more than sufficient, the duck had crepes and a dipping sauce which eaten together were delicious, the Nyonya chicken was a superb dish along with the pickled vegetables, the rendang beef was absolutely delicious, the sauce was just right, over all the main dishes were wonderful and very delicious, for dessert we tried the apple spring rolls with vanilla ice cream and salted caramel sauce, that has to be one of the best little surprises I have ever eaten, the novelty of using spring roll pastry in a dessert is sublime, the salted caramel was the right addition to this dessert, the saltiness off set the sweetness of the ice cream, the staff are very efficient, friendly and professional, we will definitely be coming back to Neho's in the...
Read moreNeho is an Asian Fusion cuisine restaurant, they have a very inviting and interesting ambiance. Kudos to their staff, they have a great customer service which is a big factor for us everytime we dine in somewhere.
We ordered the following tonight: 🦐Garlic Tom Yum Prawns - Grilled Australian tiger prawns, garlic tom yum oil, coconut cream (our favorite dish for the night! It’s bursting with flavours, you can taste every elements including the grilled flavour. The only let down is that the size that we get is not a “Tiger Prawns” it’s too small for it)
🍚Karancini - Korean rice balls, kimchi, gochujang mayo, mozzarella, furikake (this was great as well, it has the perfect balance of texture and flavours. Size wise it’s perfect for an appetizer. Nothing too overpowering that’s why you’ll surely enjoy it as your appetizer. No wonder why it keeps on flying out from the kitchen!)
🐷Sweet & Sour Pork - Grilled pork belly, sweet and sour roasted peppers relish, grilled pineapple, crispy kale (this one went underwhelming for us, the “sweet and sour” didn’t really hit the spot it fell very short in our humble opinion. We feel like every component didn’t work well together for a “sweet and sour” dish, only the pineapple made a sense. Okay we’ll give points for the usage of “peppers” but can’t taste it. For its price point we expected way better from it but it tasted really plain grilled pork belly with some pepper.)
We’ll still rate our visit a 7 out of 10! It’s still a decent dine in experience for us and we had a great too! Keen to try...
