Pretty good value for money. I'll give the cons before the pros. To go to the toilet, you exit the building with a communal key attached to a spoon, you walk down the alleyway and unlock a door. Thing is, you've to do this in reverse when coming back from the bathroom meaning you've to carry a dirty communal key spoon back into the building after making your hands nice and clean, not ideal for a restaurant. Second the food doesn't come out together. We had our side (chips with cheese powder) about ten minutes before our Korean fried chicken, and the fries are thin so they were quite cooled down by that time. In the middle, the lychee fizz had a lychee in it but the cocktail didn't taste very much of lychee. And then the pros, the fries with cheese were very nice. At first I thought there wasn't enough cheese powder but later I realised it was the perfect amount as to not sicken myself! The Korean fried chicken is fantastic. They serve with sauce on the side. The honey soy was amazing. The sweet chilli was okay, but even the sweet chilli lover among us preferred the honey soy. Very good portion size! I would definitely go here again, get honey soy, and ask for food to...
Read moreOh my gosh! So much food!! Maybe our eyes were bigger than our bellies but we arrived after work and we were pretty hungry and there were so many delicious looking menu items so we ordered quite a few. Staff pop some little bowls of sides on the table while you're browsing the menu and these did not last long - very tasty appetiser. The large serve of fried chicken is very substantial (and delicious, so crunchy!), the kimchi pancake - so light and delicate served with the perfect dipping sauce, the Crying Tiger pork belly was such a well executed dish with some super crunchy pork belly piled high with apple slaw. We also tried the cheesy kimchi rice balls, loaded fries, crispy coconut prawns and spring rolls - YUM! The drinks list is comprehensive with Korean soft drinks, beers and Soju - I had a Soju highball cocktail which was very refreshing. There's wine too. Next time I'm trying the Bibimbap... Make sure you book - this is a small and...
Read moreI legitimately dream about the Korean Fried chicken! 🍗 Tried the brunch menu after eating dinner here earlier this week and was not disappointed. Had the chicken waffles, seafood Korean pancakes and mushroom toast with the iced coffee and boba. Food was phenomenal, particularly the chicken and pancakes, the coffee strong and the boba (matcha and passionfruit) was loaded fantastic. Dinner wise, they have a fantastic sharing range, the korean fried chicken, bim bap bowl and Korean seafood pancakes were our top favourites! Fresh flowers on every table, great music and warm atmosphere would make for a great date night or family brunch. There's outdoor flower boxes and complimentary dog drinking bowl (or puppuccino with any coffee). Super easy to book a table (and change the booking) online and they're on uber eats. Honestly, if I lived close, I'd be...
