Boba Central — Restaurant in Victoria

I find Boba Central's bubble teas to be delicious and refreshing, and to have great in-store customer service, if a little on the pricey side in their beverages.

However, on multiple occasions myself and others I know have had our orders done incorrectly (wrong toppings in the wrong drinks) even after specifications left in the notes, through multiple delivery services (DoorDash, Deliveroo, Menulog, etc.), suggesting the errors to have been on Boba Central's behalf rather than the providers.

It should also be noted that Boba Central do not seem to have a direct phone number for customer service, complaints, enquiries, etc.

Overall, while Boba Central does great bubble teas, and I highly recommend an in-store experience from anyone even remotely curious to avid bubble tea lovers, be prepared that your drinks may be done incorrectly if ordering through a food delivery service, and difficulty in trying to contact the...

I'm a big city guy, so I'm used to the big three from my home city: Gong Cha, Cha Time, and Wu Cha. When I moved to Geelong earlier this year, I was disheartened to learn that none of the aforementioned chains were present in the local area. After going out on a limb to check out Boba Central, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their beverages. NOT GLUTEN FREE. Our 11 y/o ceoliac daughter had a serious reaction after being assured over phone, and then in person, that the drink chosen was gluten free. So upset.
