Was here yesterday with my hubby and ordered palabok (not sure of the english name), nilagang baka (beef soup) and fried chicken kids meal (was just after fried chicken). All of the above were delicious for me. Had brazo de mercedez desert, itās like a custard rolled in a soft pavlova (hope it makes sense). Food were served hot! Location of the restaurant is in the city centre of Geelong, a bit difficult parking but not sure if they have allocations for their customers. Saturday and Sundays are free street parking. We parked on the back adjacent street with 3h parking and walk was easy. Restaurantās ambiance was alright, a bit dark for me though but not important as long as itās clean and my belly is full. Staff very accommodating and even willing to welcome my small pet dog (thanks for that) but didnāt end up bringing due to raining all day and plus I didnāt want to be the precedent just in case people act up. Ā Ā Ā Read moreFood, Service and Atmosphere overall is just a 5 star guarantee! We have been craving some Filo food since we came here not long ago. Have tried a few resto around but Kaldero Cafe food everything on the menu will just hit the spot! The best Halo Halo, the best cebu chorizo, the best Igado(brings me back to the first authentic Igado I have tasted in Ilocos) and that is just to name a few. Like how does their chef do all authentic tasting from all of the places in Pinas? We even tried coming back to see if it's like the other filo resto that has a hit and miss in serving their food. Nope very consistent in serving true good authentic Filo dishes. Crew even some are not Filo but they have displayed a very friendly attitude. Chirpy and smiling that kinda service. No long waits and not to forget they have a decent affordable price. Here is my unsolicited rating of a 5 star for Kaldero Cafe.Keep up the good work...

I thought I wont be able to finish the extra rice, but hey, extra rice is life! Thereās not enough pictures to show as I forgot to take photos cause as soon as the food was serve, I was ready to dig in!
