TDOK chicken (Korean fried chicken) — Restaurant in Victoria

We ordered chicken through Uber eats and after waiting almost 2hours? we got nothing. after waiting for an hour i made a call to ask what is going on because we wasn't able to check where the driver is, and they said food has been sent and it will be arriving soon. So we waited more(we understand it is Saturday night and might get busy), again after 20min?? still nothing. Tdok is 10min from our place and we made second call and asked why we cant check the driver on the app. She said she thinks Uber doesn't provide that and food will be there soon. We didn't want to wait more and cancel it. It was terribly horrible service. They ruin our dinner and waste 2hours. In fcat, we just order other food and uber provide driver's location. Therefore they deliver the food by themselves to save cost i guess? and lie to customers?

Frist of all, We visit only 2 times and it was even like more than a year ago. just 2 times visit and do you know why? to be honest we were really happy that finally we have korean fried chicken here in Geelong so we visit. However as korean,taste wise ,that wasnt satisfying but that was ok. real problem waz food wasnt well cooked. a few peice were red inside. still we understand maybe one mistake. next visit? We had same quailty food. so we just give up on going and didnt want to leave bad review about it because you know it is still korean food. During 2 visits we didnt get any free food from you and never been taken care of you so stop lying. i am not sure if you think i am someone else. Second of all, i dont know why you said we orderd 7:50is. uber eatd error somthing? we are pretty sure we were watching netflix when we order and saw time. it waz 7:15ish and when we placed an orded, estimate delivery time 50 min. so 8:00~8:20. like you said if it was 7:50 ish, doesnt make sense right ? because on the Uber app says 8:00-8:20?? 10 to 30 min delivery time?? yeah ? make sense to you? when you tell your customers delivery time 50min. last of all, after an hour wait i made first call around 8.30 that is because like i wrote above. maximum estimate time is 8:20 so we wait more coz we understand it is busy day. and she said "food has already been sent" so we wait 10min more, made second call 8:41. She again said it is on delivery. for the last time wait more and made the last call to cancel it. It is 10min from ourplace so how do yoi explain when food has already been sent and didnt get for 30min? and how do you explain we cant track the uber driver when we use uber eats? so yeah we called 3 times not 5 times after 2hours waiting. you said 5times coz 2 times you didnt amser me but actual spoke we did it 3times right? after 2hours waiting and seeing your unbelievbly supid reply we are the one who need to apologise. I have previously dined in and ordered online from this place, loved the food. I recently ordered fried chicken online and they served what seemed like leftover chicken bits and skin. There was not enough chicken! And I know for a fact it was poor quality since I have ordered same thing while dining and it was amazing. So, dine in, dont order online (you may get dissapointed).

Edit- Hello, I am sorry if it came across as spreading false information. I have mentioned having an amazing experience while dining in and love the food, I am just writing to inform regarding online experience. By the way, my order was boneless fried chicken. I have ordered same thing in the restaurant and about 10-12 enoyable and sizable chicken pieces were served. However, the online order had so many thin tiny chewy (more-skin, very little chicken) which was not enjoyable. If I were dining in I could have directly conveyed my concern but thats not possible for online delivery. Once again, the goal is not to harm your business (from where I often order) but just to convey the issue. I hope...

I was initially sold on this place by the reviews but in reality was not impressed at all unfortunately!

The service was lovely, and food came out nice and quickly, but the food itself was just meh.

The kimchi just tasted like wet, vinegary cabbage - I’d had better from supermarkets before, and I expected more from an actual Korean restaurant.

I tried the Mandoo dumplings and they were nowhere near as browned as the photos. They honestly tasted liked they’d come out of the freezer and into a deep fryer - no freshness to them or standout flavours.

I also got the boneless fried chicken and it was just so plain and uninteresting. The “sweet & spicy” sauce didn’t offer much either. Yes it was sweet but it didn’t have any bold flavours that made you crave the next piece and not be able to stop going back for more.
