the breakfast burger one was amazing. Relish is on point especially the additional hashbrown that I ordered was crispy and delicious. Also, salute to the baristas that day, the coffees were amazing. However, the service from one staff was pretty bad. It was our first time to go to this cafe and we asked for a table. She did gave us a table but we did ask for another one as i didnt expect the inside part of the cafe was really small and outside was pretty cold. It was not that busy for a dine in (like 3p only) so we kinda expect to get a bit better service. The table we got was a bit dirty so we asked if it could get wiped. It was so obvious by her face that she was mad when we asked that as she just stomp the glasses and water bottle in front of us and then quickly wiped the table and then go. Will definitely go back for the food and coffee but also discouraging to have a nice breakfast with that...

My partner and I visited Common Ground for a Sunday brunch. I had the Pork Belly Benedict and my partner had the Panna Cotta! Both dishes were absolutely delicious! The hollandaise on the Benedict was absolutely phenomenal!

The staff were super friendly, the service was amazing and the actual cafe itself was warm and inviting. Love the exposed brick on the walls and the stylish interior. So nice!

Also, the barista that served us just lit up the room with her smile and her vibe was simply the best (Charlie I think her name was - love your work). She made one of the best chai lattes I've had in Ballarat! Thanks for the delicious brunch guys, we will definitely be back to try more...

I went for lunch on the Saturday of the Labor Day weekend and the service was good and the meal and coffee good. I also went on the Monday for breakfast. We were seated outside without a booking and put on a time limit. When our order hadn’t been taken after nearly half an hour of waiting I inquired of a staff member whether we had to order at the counter today. His response was rude and aggressive. Our coffee order was lost and coffee not delivered until well after our meals were delivered and we were almost charged for something else we didn’t have. Two contrasting experiences within a weekend. Next time in Ballarat we will try that cute cafe near the old...

Had Turkish eggs which consists of 2 poached eggs. 3 huge pieces of hard Turkish bread, and a very large amount of butter. Too much actually. Which melts and goes over everything. Butter is nice. But not this much. Coffee was OK, nothing to write home about. The addition of $6 worth of bacon, cut very small and cooked within an inch of its life. Unable to be cut by even the provided steak knife with any ease. Was a disappointment. Also a note to the owners. Please clean that ceiling fan above the coffee machine and register. If I noticed that when I walked in I wouldn't have eaten here at all. It's absolutely covered in dust and should be cleaned regularly

Decent breakfast choices and quality of cooking, definitely feels like you're eating freshly made food! Prices are fairly stock standard for this day and age. The layout of this place is actually quite nice with different sections but an overall modern yet calming vibe. The coffee here was made really well, not burnt or bitter at all!
