I have been a customer for several years however extremely disappointed with a recent experience. I ordered a meal which I heard was going to be in 2 containers, I waited and appeared to be next in line for my meal. A meal was called out, 2 containers, being partially deaf I didn't catch everything that was said. I went up and picked up the meal as the only other person in the shop was someone who ordered after me. I got home 40mins later to find out it was not my meal. I called the shop to discuss (I didn't complain or blame the shop) and received a barage of abuse and attitude from someone about how it was completely my fault that I picked up the wrong meal and tough luck! They refused to tell me whether I was even entitled to any refund because of any price difference - I felt belittled, haranged and embarassed for even calling. When I suggested that maybe if they gave out tickets at the order point, and then x-checked them when handing over meals it might help prevent this happening in future, i just got 'Yeah, I'll pass that on to my supervisor', which I'm guessing didn't happen. I know it was later in the evening and maybe the person was tired, but I didn't deserve the attitude and didn't deserve to go hungry because the meal I was looking forward to, I didn't get. Read moreUsed to order regularly but this is the last time. One of our meals was not delivered with the rest. When I called and finally got through I asked for the missing meal which I had paid for to be sent out.
Emma there told me that was not going to happen and I would have to call next time I ordered and ask for it to be sent out with the next order.
I told her we had ordered and paid because we wanted to eat now not next week.
She said Menulog was the reason she would not send it.
I said we enjoyed their food but that if it was liable to arrive in installments some now some next week without any effort to get missing food to us on the day we were eating then I did not see how we could confidently order from them again.
Then she hung up on me without a word.
Everyone makes mistakes but being unwilling to remedy them and being rude after are dealbreakers for me.
So to save on paying Menulog to deliver my meal they lost a regular customer in a market where there are at least 3 good alternative vendors. Lousy business sense.
By the way when I called to say my order was incomplete she initially said something about "Oh yes that was the main sent out instead of Family". It was not. So they erred and took customers money without delivering full value more...
Read moreThe dinner was disgusting who puts 1/4 chicken chips and gravy All separate (chips and gravy in one box and chicken in a bag). Asked for it all in foils got it all in cardboard boxs then was told well you need to ask for a foils which we did, no customer service what so ever doesn't listen to a thing the customer asks for and takes half an hour to make up 3 meals which were all cooked anyway and still stuffs them up. Most of the veggies weren't cooked in the veggie pack carrots, pumpkin and and scallop potatos were rock hard we couldn't even eat them, $50 down the drain for food that we can't even eat. Very disappointing will NOT be going back. It's the second time we've been there and they've stuffed it up both times, I thought they would've improved since the first time...
