Contrary to the clearly false 1 star review, this restaurant is POSITIVELY PRO CHINESE. The food was delicious and serving sizes are generously enormous!! The sheer amount of jalapeños in the Hot Cow speaks for itself!! The owner was kind enough to warn us about how hot the Hot Cow was beforehand. We still risked it because you only live once. As we dined on the outside table, it was beautiful to see such familiarity amongst the customers and the owner and staff, something we don't really get in metropolitan Melbourne. Sale be proud! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be coming back again the next time we drive past on our way out of VIC camping. Thanks Janelle and team :)

Amazing burgers! I pass through Sale every other month for work and have tried every dining option available. From Criterion, Sporting Legends, and the various Indian and Vietnamese offerings. Hot Cow Burgers is by far the tastiest, best quality and fairly priced meal I’ve thus far experienced. I’d go so far as to say, among the best burgers I’ve had period! It’s really good, I’m already looking forward to my next trip back to Sale - for more burger goodness!

This review is ONLY for ice cream and Shakes as we did not order anything else. They offer a very limited selection of ice creams and they didn’t have Chocolate ice cream 😳 they had more toppings options though my son enjoyed the rainbow ice cream on cone. We also ordered the Thick Shake which they put whip cream on top without asking if we wanted whip cream or not. It didn’t taste chocolaty at all.

They must have Spongebob working in the kitchen here, because my lordy, were our Burgers made with so much LOVE and CARE!

Ordered a three Cheese Burger & Chips, and a single Cheeseburger & Chips, and we were SO SATISFIED!!!

I have been to many burger places all across Australia, and I have to mention this is the best experience in all of Australia. Why does Hot Cow not advertise any awards? Surely they're award winning? Because they'd have more than my vote that's for sure!

We come back here every time we decide to get take away - There is no better value for money anywhere in town

Hell, even if it was $50 per burger, i'd still pay it! (Please don't up your perfect prices lol)

Just had a lovely dinner at Hot Cow Burgers in Sale. We have a large family and it's a busy night, so the staff let us know it would take a little longer than usual, and since we're not from Sale we went for a walk to fill the time and get to know the area a bit. It was great! Such a lovely evening. We sat outside and enjoyed the grass and evening atmosphere. And when the food came out was just delicious. Yummy burger shop thick chips and delicious burgers. The shakes were also so good, and when they came out the girl who brought them apologised again for the delay and have it's a bag of chocolate eggs. It was so sweet!
