Feedback on Recent Visit to Jessie's Pizza, Cowes
Dear Jessie's Pizza Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to provide feedback on my recent visit to your Cowes location.
Before visiting, I checked your website for current offers and noticed a deal for 3 large pizzas for $55. However, upon placing my order in-store, I was informed that the price had increased to $60.50. When I mentioned the discrepancy and showed the website, I was told that the online information was not up to date. I pointed out that, according to Australian Consumer Law, the advertised price should be honored. Despite this, I paid the $60.50 as my family was waiting for dinner, and it was only a few dollars more. I did mention that I would be writing a review about the experience.
When I picked up the pizzas, the person who handed them to me, whom I believe to be the owner, asked if I was going to write a review. When I confirmed, he abruptly interrupted me and rudely suggested that I "write a review about how good the pizzas are and BEEP! off!." This interaction was quite startling, especially as it occurred in front of several other customers. I later returned to the store to clarify if the person who spoke to me in such a manner was indeed the owner, but unfortunately, I was met with further hostility.
Despite this unpleasant experience, I would like to acknowledge that the pizzas were good. While they were not the best I have ever had, they were certainly enjoyable.
It is disappointing to have encountered such poor customer service, and I hope that this feedback can be used constructively to improve how customer inquiries and complaints are handled in the future.
I sat on writing this for a while as I thought the importance of supporting local small business while on holidays and that the person may be having a bad day and an isolated incident but I done bit more research and notice a bit of trend of bad costmuer service for this business which is disappointing which ultimately lead me to write this,
I hope they can turn there costumes services around and update the website, ther business is in a prime location and has lot...
Read moreI recently had the misfortune of visiting Jessies Pizza in Cowes, and let me tell you, it was an experience I won't soon forget—though for all the wrong reasons. From the moment I walked in, it was clear this place was more about pretending to care than delivering a decent pizza.
First, let’s talk about the pizza. If cardboard had a flavor, it would be their crust. It was dry, bland, and about as satisfying as chewing on an old shoe. The toppings were sparse to the point of being an afterthought. I’ve seen better cheese stretches in a school cafeteria. For a place that claims to specialise in pizza, they’ve somehow mastered the art of underwhelming.
But what really sealed the deal was the service. I was greeted by an older, grey-haired man behind the counter who seemed like he’d rather be elsewhere. He barely acknowledged me when I ordered, and when I asked for a simple recommendation, he looked at me blankly as if I’d just asked him to solve a calculus problem. His tone was dismissive, and his lack of customer service skills was glaring. I’m all for people enjoying their retirement, but this guy had no business working the counter—he couldn’t have cared less about anything happening in that establishment.
This place needs a serious overhaul, starting with finding employees who care. Jessies Pizza in Cowes, your pizza is disappointing, your service is abysmal, and that grey-haired worker should probably hang up his apron and leave the customer service to people who know what they’re doing. Would not...
