Dropped by this cafe for brunch on our last day in Echuca, thankfully called up to reserve a table before we arrived as they were pretty busy. And we were very lucky to get the last available table.
The staff were really friendly and recommended the burrito bowl on the menu as I was tossing between that or the scrambled eggs.
Turned out the Burrito bowl was really yummy and filling! I had to takeaway half of it as it filled me up quickly. Ingredients were really fresh, however I would have loved if they added a bit of lemon to the guacamole. The spiced chicken was definitely on point!
My friend had the bacon and egg toast which he said was really yummy and fresh too. He would definitely have it again.
The soy flat white was beautifully made.
We also took away a butterbing (not photographed) which was absolutely yummy and perfect for a roadtrip snack!
Thank you for your hospitality! Especially to Liv who took our order 😊 I did notice all the other food that were served on the menu looked delicious too, can’t wait to be back to taste the rest...
Read moreI went here for brunch on the Sunday morning of the Riverboats Fedtival. I walked in the front door and noticed a few empty tables inside. Then I spotted more tables through the side door so went out that door and found a table to sit at.
I was busy perusing the menu and had just decided what I was going to have when a woman came up to me and said I couldn’t sit there. She told me there was a queue and I had to wait to be shown a table.
I asked if I could sit at one of the empty tables inside and was told no. She was quite rude and escorted me to the end of the queue but I kept walking. I would never eat anywhere where people make you feel bad.
The bigger question in my mind was why were the making people queue when there were so many empty tables available, so much so I didn’t see the queue at the side gate where they made people wait. There was no indication of this process when I walked in the front door. It was a sign of poor service hence why I kept walking.
Businesses need to understand people won’t tolerate being made...
