'Dining in' was an experience in itself. The waitress seemed annoyed that we entered her cafe and we were abruptly told it was table service only. No dramas for us there. It took them about 20 mins to serve us as one waitress was too busy catching up on the towns gossip and another one was determined to do anything else but come to our table. Finally we ordered. I had the 'nachos' which came looking like it was drenched in a can of condensed chicken soup and my companion had the chicken sandwich - which was edible enough except for a weird taste of soap in the food. Our coffees arrived 15 minutes after our meals and were only a slight improvement on international roast. We made the mistake of wanting to order dessert which we were told off for and whilst edible - definently not home made as advertised. Any place is hit or miss but the environment of the venue was really a little hostile - there seemed to be one very friendly waitress but we didn't have the pleasure of being served by her. Food ok but only one item made at a time and we had an order for 6 people, one meal was forgotten so we had to ask about it was supposed to come with chips and coleslaw, we were too hungry to dispute this couldn't wait to pay and get out of there. One lady appears to enjoy lemons as was very sour when a simple question was asked if we could order at the till a sour no someone will come to you obviously we were not from here and I certainly wouldn't return. May not look like much from the outside, but WOW, step inside and taste the amazing food on offer.😋 The shop is a bit small, but you can usually find a seat if you want to eat in. Beautifully cooked meals to T/A or dine in, either way you will not be disappointed. If you have enough room for some dessert after the very large meals, then once again you won't be disappointed with whatever delicious cakes or slices on offer.
