Liebig Thai Warrnambool, what can I say, probably, simply amazing! No other words to describe😊 We first visited Warrnambool in June 2018 and visited a couple of weeks apart! Being vegan we thought Thai was our best restaurant choice, and Liebig Restaurant was our first choice, and turned out to be our only choice, as we had no reason to go anywhere else! Within a couple of visits, this beautiful restaurant not only treated us as valued patrons, they treated us as family! Due to work and family commitments, we haven’t been able to visit Warrnambool again until today, and we immediately booked into Liebig on our first night, we were sitting at our table when we were greeted, “Vicki and Peter”, have you moved here (as this is what we had said to the lovely staff, how we would love to live here!). What a wonderful surprise to know, not only did they remember us, but welcomed us back like family! The vegan choices here are amazing, the Salt and Pepper tofu and the Chive dumplings were an amazing starter and the Veggie Cashew chilli 🌶 jam stir fry and Tom Kha soup were simply amazing tonight! .... and after we paid our bill, they brought us out the most amazing coconut dessert😊 This restaurant has beautiful food and beautiful staff! 10/10 on all counts! Liebig Cafe for us has the most delicious thai cuisine in Victoria and even NSW. We come here quite often sometimes even several times a week and it’s not because there aren’t other asian cuisine options in Warnie. It’s really because of their consistently tasty, flavourful and delicious food. Our favorites are: kana moo krob (the best!), thai fried rice with prawns, grilled pork neck with coconut rice, soft shell crab curry, sweet sour fish fillet and out latest discovery their whole barramundi in sweet garlic sauce. The staff are super friendly, hospitable and dedicated especially Gang, Gigi, Tom and Pat. They have lots of regular guests whom they treat as friends already. We can eat here almost everyday! Each dish is packed with flavor, made from fresh ingredients, and prepared with care. Whether you're after something light or hearty, they have it all.
