The question that has to be asked is, where do the Owners of some of these businesses find their Staff! We stopped off at this place around 11:50pm after a long tiring trip back from Melbourne. Were we greeted with a pleasant Welcome..... No such luck, in fact far from it. As we looked at the Menu board, we were brusquely told that we had 5 minutes to make up our mind and order.
Somewhat taken back by this new approach to Customer Service, we did so and as part of that order asked for two thick shakes, only to be told that the machine was defrosting. The Team member who served (now that is a misnomer) did not ask if we would have liked another type of drink... nope nothing but bad attitude from the blonde female Team Member, who btw looked like she had slept in her uniform.
To top of this fantastic experience two other customers, young men, one of whom apparently was an employee, arrived well after our 5 minute warning. The off duty employee placed his order (No, “you have 5 minutes to order”warning for him, perhaps employees have Special privileges not bestowed on the ordinary Customer) then proceeded behind the counter, I guess for a little Social interaction. His mate meanwhile had stretched out on the bench seat opposite the Cafe area, feet up, guess he was just a tad tired and needed a rest.
When we got our meal (not much change out of $18) it was at best warm and obviously just quickly thrown together.
As I said earlier, in this review, the attitude of the blonde female who served us, was bad to say the least. To which can be added rude and obnoxious.
The owners of the Yarrawonga MacDonalds really need to either retrain or replace some of their Team. If I could rate this business a -10 I would, that being said it deserves and warrants its 1 Star 🌟rating. We won’t be returning, besides if you are feeling like some fast food, there is a KFC on the opposite side of the roundabout and all things considered it hasn’t got much to beat!

Read moreArrived 5.43PM, Sunday 3rd September. Never have I been so disgusted with a "restaurant". The entrance area was filthy, rubbish on the ground around the tables and used containers left on the tables. The footpath area into the "restaurant" needed to be washed (no it hadn't rained there in days). Entered and immediately noticed the cleanliness of the floor and tables. Once again there was rubbish on the surrounding floors and near the bin, there had been something spilt and not attended because there were black footmarks all around that area including the service counter. It should have been attended to ASAP and not just dump a sign near the area. The staff were not wearing their uniforms, one member looked as though she had just gotten out of bed. A customer went behind the service counter to talk to staff. The toilets were a disgrace. Overall, a filthy, disgusting "restaurant" and will not visit that place again. I have passed this information to the appropriate Government authority for...
Read moreWe visited Yarrawonga for the weekend and decided to go to maccas for coffee, shake and banana bread. We waited ages to be served at the counter and no one would , so i decided to order on the App and get table service . When our order was ready a female brought the banana bread and coffee to our table and through it on the table. I mentioned that one banana bread was to be toasted and so she grumbled you didn’t asked for it to be and walked off to do it. When she came back I showed her my emailed receipt to prove it was to be toasted and asked her was our strawberry shake still coming . She hissed rudely and I also said please don’t throw my food on the table . She rudely said I have cars to serve and I’m having a bad day. I said are your cars more important than restaurant customers. We decided to talk to the manager and get a refund as this is no way to talk to customers. I hope the firey red heads day...
