Muddy Waters — Restaurant in Victoria

Lovely little cafe which was unfortunately brought down by the older blonde lady with quite an unfortunate personality who I believe runs or owns the establishment. I was accused of not being a customer when I asked for the restroom key and was told I was therefore not allowed to use their restroom. I explained I had been sitting outside for the past hour and a half and had purchased 3 meals and multiple drinks. The older blonde lady did not apologise and just about threw the toilet key at me. Then the next day laughed at me for ringing ahead of time to ask whether or not they offered takeaway service. Manners are for free Muddy Waters cafe Wang. I spoke to some locals who also reiterated that this ladies unfortunate personality can make dining at Muddy Waters rather uncomfortable. Our favourite cafe to visit. We have always been so welcomed by the lovely staff. Our meals are always delicious and it is amazing to have so many homemade options to choose from. Love the coffee too. It was disappointing to read a previous review with unfavourable comments and recommending other cafes to go too. The owners and staff of Muddy Waters work long and hard hours to provide their customers with a great dining experience. Maybe chat to the owner if something wasn’t to your liking before making negative reviews. This is their livelihood and such negativity can cause a detrimental effect. We should be supporting our locally owned and ran business's, times are hard enough!. So, thank you to the Muddy Team, we love what you do and can’t wait to dine...

Less than impressed. Food was ok, nothing to write home to Mum about. Service was curt and like l was putting them out. But the prices for what you get...... - Go across the road to Paulie's, or any of the multitude of other spots for value.

*EDIT - Was surprised to get this response from owner until l read a couple of their previous. Reading it though, as can be seen, valid my concerns about the service. Interestingly, l didn't go to school in or anywhere near wangaratta. And having been here, IN THE AREA FOR A YEAR ONLY, these so-called 'pictures' of me would be interesting.
