From Canada, I went to explore Wangaratta for food and drinks, I tried some beverages (coffee) from a place right down the street from Pre vue and thought I should have breakfast at Pre Vue.. (which was recommended by the coffee place I went to), while I waited for my turn to get seated at the front, the white beard man approaches with no intentions of care or good customer service asked me what can I help you with.. I said with my coffee in the hand “just looking to have a good breakfast”. “Okay, finish your coffee first, then I can offer you a seat” the bearded man replied and walked away!! I was stunned and confused, so I asked him again.. “yeah, I have my coffee but I am willing to pay for breakfast” all embarrassed asking all these questions around people I had to leave but I did record the conversation when I went back and wanted to speak the manager.. apparently he was the manager but I couldn’t find the owner to make a little complaint.. and it’s been posted on my social media all tagged on instagram and snap chat. One of the worse customer service. Then I went to Paulie’s Corner.. and they had no issues with me bringing the coffee.. and I even tipped them on top of it! How do you know that if I have a drink in my hand and I won’t order another again? Doesn’t matter.. the owner should look into this.. because that bearded man is ignorant and can bring your...
Read moreGiving one star because the service and attitude from the staff was absolutely unpleasant and rude. We did not enjoy our meal at this place and left with a bitter taste.
The location and ambience is great, food is average, but the experience was sadly shameful, discriminating and disgusting. We were served by a young lady with brunette hair tied in a ponytail + eyelash extensions as well as an elder man with long white beard dressed in a navy blazer and baggy jeans.
The lady seemed very displeased at her work because she was rolling her eyes while serving us, adding the fact that she spilled one of our friend’s coffee and cutleries without ANY apology and walked away. The elder man was rude as well when we asked for a spoon, he immediately replied us by saying ‘why do you want that for?’
We feel discriminated against as Asians because they are treating other white customers with so much enthusiasm and joy and no attitude. SO FAKE
EDIT: thanks to your reply ‘perhaps we didn’t get the English humor from the white man’ - which clearly shows everyone reading this how racist you are 🤣 jokes on yourself. If the work culture is toxic, everyone you hire regardless of work experience will still...
Read moreDo yourself a favour and give this place a miss. Absolutely disgusting customer service and a very unpleasant experience, have never been so mistreated as a customer before. Covert racism was experienced through the attitude and behaviour of the staff members that served us, as we could see other customers (white) getting such a difference service. Such a shame as the food was decent.
Condescending and rude behaviour from MULTIPLE staff members. Brunette waitress rolled her eyes when we requested for a few more minutes to look at the menu Brunette waitress grudgingly served our coffee and it spilled Brunette waitress slammed the cutleries box and it spilled all over the table We asked for a spoon and the elder man in a blazer and white beard responded bluntly “what for??” - do we need to explain ourselves when asking for cutleries? Friend ordered “little tacklers” without knowing there is an age restriction. When the food was served, the elder man in blazer and white beard abrasively said “Dont ever do that again”. If there is an age restriction, put it on the menu next time so customers are aware and dont take the order from the get go -...
