Vietnamese Mint Café — Restaurant in Victoria

The girl at the counter was friendly but I wouldn't get another banh mi from there. $18 for a banh mi and it was missing traditional sauce and very if any paté. The bbq chicken was dry and no flavour. I particularly like banh mi for their spicy chilli taste. It was not spicy at all. Like a couple of chillis and not spicy at all. My partner didn't like his pork banh mi because it was mostly lettuce though he said pork itself was good there was hardly any in it. And he hated his coffee though I enjoyed mine. His coffee treated very similar to my almond latte so there is a chance they accidentally have him almond milk instead of full cream. Not really worth the...

What has happened to this place? Used to love coming here for a crispy pork roll. Now they use microwave heated pork that was crispy, once upon a time. Took the bahn mi back to let them redeem themselves. The lady seemed disinterested, put meat in the oven for a minute and handed me a new one. Guess what? Soggy 'crispy' pork again. What a shame, seems that a few others are experiencing the same service. For $18 for the bahn mi & a coffee $6.50 PLUS card charge this was not a pleasant experience. Sorry,...

This was such a perfect visit - nice break from travel, great kind service from the workers, a unique soft drink.. And an excellent Bhan Mi.. Bhan Mi perfection is multifaceted or shall we say multi feel - a unexpected bread choice but with the patte I didn't know of until I reached the centre, everything made delicious sense, all elements of food enjoyment including mouth feel were perfectly mastered.
