Terribly rude experience at Nando's today, possibly the worst and the weirdest experience in the entirety of Geelong.
I work as a dasher as my side job on the weekends. A short server Indian guy working at Nando's on the 23rd of August evening closing shift 5 MINUTES before closing time refused to give me a customer order. I have a DOUBLE ORDER at this restaurant because no one else is picking up due to notorious long 15-30 minutes wait time, I'm the only person willing to stand there. The other taller guy seems to have no problem with me picking up the order.
The order is ready and the guy is not even willing to check up on me, with the order just sitting on the counter. I went up to check with him, The short guy accuses me of not having an insulated bag whilst being super aggresive, but I'm literally holding one in front of him, he then comes up with excuses such as Doordash or UberEats policies doesn't allow multi-apping, if they don't I would have been banned already, they don't care as long as I can deliver on time to the customer, we as dashers needs to keep a certain percentage of delivery on time or early to not have our account deactivated. Kinda ridiculous that I also have to end up calling the customer to explain the entire situation. Congrats to him for loosing the restaurant money.

Read moreWe ordered for click and collect only to find out that they did not prepare our food.we have kids waiting for our dinner but it took then an hour after we arrived on the specified time the online order asked us to pick up.and the service is the worst,when we went to pick up our orders the lady on the counter just straight away said that they did not have our order number even if we showed her the receipt.she was in a hurry to shove us away.she did not try to investigate further on their system or even look at the receipts.then when we asked her for the 2nd time she just said "you want to talk to our manager?" And she called thier manager which took them another 15min.yes we understand that they were busy but we did click and collect becuase our kids are waiting for dinner.the manager then tried to find our order,only to find out that they havent done it yet.we waited a while again for them to cook our order and the worst thing is because they were on a hurry,they forgot about sanitation and cleanliness.they used their hand to pick up the chicken.their packaging was poor.they just asked us to wait without being apologetic.then when we saw how they handle our food,we said that we want the other box,which thye still give it to us.we used to like nandos belmont but after that experience we lost trust with thier staffs.its the...
Read moreLets start from walking in, the place is visibly dirty, it was busy so i could let it pass but i think there needs to be higher quality (throughout my review ill look at everything compared to Chadstone Nandos), we got seated fast and ordered from the table QR code. We waited 30mins but i don't mind waiting if the food was good.
First came the grilled hallumi with salsa, hard to go wrong, then the hummus and pita bread, two dollops of hummus in a bowl, presentation was awful literally the way i described and having a Mediterranean background just awful.
We then got our meals half peri peri chicken with spicy rice or sweet potato chips. Not bad but the chicken was obviously roasted not grilled. May i emphasise you go to Nandos for grilled chicken not the same chicken you buy at woolies covered in peri peri sauce. I may have come at a bad time but regardless you have to achieve a similar quality nomatter what time of day. Like i said earlier i dont mind waiting if i get good food. Especially the quality of Chadstone i can wait an hour. I know the potential but Belmont's Nandos does...
