relatively fast service with large portions - if you are not a big eater, it would be best to share one with someone else

i got the combination noodles & a disclaimer for those used to authentic asian flavours, the noodles are sweeter, and more similar to the american chow mein than anything you will find in SEA / North Asia. still tastes decent and honestly the portion & reasonable price makes this place still kinda worth it

funnily enough, someone else got the samba chilli noodles & it was basically the same as mine but slightly spicer, which was rather amusing

i also got the prawn crackers for AUD$1.50 - tastes nothing like the prawn crackers you find in SEA markets lol it tasted more like air, rice & disappointment. would give that a miss if i were you

fyi 600ml bottled water was AUD3 & bottled...

ABSOLUTELY MY FAVOURITE GO TO LUNCH!!!

They make all of their food fresh, and right in front of you, it tastes AMAZING, they accomodate dietary requirements, fast and efficient, i could go on forever.

They really are amazing over at Colac Noodle Canteen! Seems to be a family run business as i always see the same people there! Really love this shop, don’t know what id do for lunch without it.

if you need a recommendation, no.25 the rice box, is insane! packed with veggies and meat! for only $15!!!!

As Filipino travelers craving rice, their 15AUD (- 550PHP) fried rice box and KFC bucket hit the spot! There’s a nearby KFC just across this Noodle Canteen. Fried rice has that smokey wok flavor, generous chunks of veggies, shrimp, and pork. It’s a little oily but that’s usual for Chinese foods.

Grateful to the friendly staff for taking our last-minute order. One of the few places open past 9 PM—perfect after a long Great Ocean Road drive.
