I came to the store having checked out the Google rating number which seemed quite good. When I arrived, it was clear something was not right but in Google, we trust, especially when driving, tired and hungry!

The girl serving was friendly enough but seemed taken aback when I asked if the food was fresh.

I placed my order and sat down to read the reviews with the sound of bollywood music blaring in the background and immediately began to regret placing my faith in the algorithm!

It seems anyone that posts a negative review about this institution gets verbally attacked by the operators or accused of being a fake review, like seriously read their replies, it is a good laugh!

When the food came out, the so-called fresh prawns were clearly frozen shrimp no bigger than a 50 Cent piece and terribly stale. The piece of fish was clearly reheated, stale and soggy. The chips were admittedly quite good.

They also gave me 3 Dim Sims dripping in soy at no cost seemingly to hide the taste.

I can only rate this restaurant as one star and now realise how important it is to check written reviews and not make my mistake by just looking at the numerical rating.

It can be gamed in a number of ways - false positive reviews from extended members of the family, offering a free drink for anyone who scans the QR code and does a review that you must show them before getting the drink :).

Finally reaping the rewards of a previous owners endeavour, both of which appear to have happened...

This has been our local fish and chips since moving to the area last year. Usually, we only ordering chips and potato cakes, however, tonight called for a chicken burger. Unfortunately, the chicken was still raw in the burger. After my initial phone call, we waited for nearly 15minutes to have a return call offering to recook the order. By this stage the rest of our order was cold and uneaten. By this stage, we just wanted a refund. The staff offered a refund if we brought the uncooked burger back. When we got back, the staff member offered a partial refund of the item (the burger is $11 he offered us $10). The staff member was unapologetic and didn’t seem to care that the raw chicken was served. I asked for a full refund for the meal which the staff member denied. The food was terrible . The flake was stuck on the grease paper because it was under cooked and as I rolled the packet open all the batter of the flake come all off . I never seen flake with scale skin on it !The flake I ordered wasn’t flake !!! The potatoes cakes and the dim sims were not cooked . I ordered hamburgers and 15 minutes later they said they had no more buns !!!! Then I changed it to steak sandwiches. 15 minutes later again the girl who never even smiled once , said they can’t make the steak sandwiches because there was water running down the walls behind the fryers . I will never go there again . The food , the customer service . The lack of enthusiasm that a new customer has entered the shop . I was actually shocked how does this business even survive.
