Staff here seem to be more interested in service efficiency than good food. The flake is good quality, but they only leave it in the oil for about 2 minutes, hardly enough time for the batter to become crispy and golden; it becomes blonde, doughy and bready instead. They don't drain it properly either, so you end up with soggy fish and soggy chips as well. The staff do not listen, I have told them numerous times that I'd like it to be left in longer (well cooked), but I still get handed my food after less than 5 minutes in the shop each time. Dim Sims were doughy, soggy and oil logged, as if it was cooked from warm oil rather than hot oil. Chips were logged with oil all the way through, so the oil isn't hot enough to cook with. The flake taste off, I spat it out in a hurry and didn't eat anything else after that. I didnt work up the courage to try the potato cakes. Nuttin good about the food whatsoever, will never go back. I hope I don't get sick from this food, especially the flake I spat out. You can clearly see the thick coat of fat grease in the pictures, none of it is edible. How can you serve...

We ordered fish and chips, nuggets and dim sims. Most of the food was OK but one of the pieces of flake was like rubber, it was so hard we couldn't cut it with a knife, the chips had a strong oil taste like they were cooked in old oil. The fish was for our grandchildrens dinner, unfortunately we had to divide the other piece so they at least had something to eat. This is the second time we have had fish like this from here.
