Well I have to leave one star to be able to submit my review , it is not justified and I take it back !!! Absolutely disgusted in being discriminated and disrespected by staff, i suffer a medical condition of the skin/scalp and I choose to wear a head wrap for coverage and self security ,, And rsl dress code allow such items for medical reasons and or religion,, I have never been so humiliated and emotionally embarrassed by the staff , after my entry to the premises and ordering a meal and sitting with 15 team members and friends visiting Shepparton from interstate for the Softball Masters for nearly an hour my meal arrived but to my horror i never even got a fork in to it as I was demanded to remove my head piece or leave the premises, even after trying to explain my circumstances to the arrogant man at the desk he persistently spoke to me extremely rudely and still demanded I leave because I would not remove my protection,, I for one and all my friends who were just as shocked at my treatment will certainly never use the premises ever again, ,, I hope nobody else with health issues gets the same embarrassing...

Disappointing. We revisited after a couple of years on our way north. Last time our visit was really good. This time not so... no welcome, completely ignored. Restaurant staff much better thankfully. It was really busy, so did take almost 40 minutes for our food to come, but that wasn't a problem. I ordered the lunchtime lemon chicken and he had fish and chips. The lemon chicken was a large chicken breast laminated with overcooked batter, drenched in a fluorescent yellow sauce which had never been anywhere near a lemon. The heaped tablespoon of "fried rice" accompanying it was at best steamed rice with a few veg and meat bits stirred through, I would bet it had never seen a frypan either.

His fish was in a rock hard batter, overcooked and dry. Chips were frozen not made in house. Only positive was the nice salad and dressing.

Having said all that, they were very good value for the portion sizes - or at least would have been good value if good meals. Extremely disappointing Shepparton RSL - we've loved visiting in the past, but this will be our...

We had a Beautiful send off for my Dear Uncle/Godfather here last week. What an interesting, inviting and well set up RSL. The bar staff were caring, kind and lovely to deal with. I guess it was my Uncle's second home, he loved the RSL. Our dinner was delicious however I was disappointed with how one of the waitresses treated my sister when she delivered her meal. The gentleman at the entrance was fantastic, very friendly and a lovely person to chat with. I purchased some beautiful jewellery from him in support of your RSL. When we went to leave my sisters and Mum decided they also wanted what I had. Out the back he went bringing out beautiful items for them to see and ultimately buy. Thank you for looking after us and sharing your memories of our beautiful Uncle and my Dear Godfather TANK. He would be so proud of everything everyone did for him and for being there. He didn't like to be the centre of attention but the photo with his mates certainly shows he was that day. We love him and will truly miss him. Thank you...
