I recently visited this Vietnamese restaurant with a group of 34 friends from GV U3A and was blown away by the delicious food and great service. From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make sure we had a fantastic dining experience. The menu was full of authentic Vietnamese dishes, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The dishes were some of the best I've ever had. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. But what really stood out to me was the service. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, and Hanna checked in frequently to make sure everything was to our liking. They even gave us additional desserts at the end of the evening to enjoy with some refreshing Jasmine tea. Overall, I would highly recommend Pho Viet restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food and great service. It's clear that the staff takes pride in what they do, and it really shows in the quality of the food and the level of service. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes! Thank you Chef Huy, Hanna, Vu & Thai you made our very first International Foodies group dinner a...

Coming from the other Vietnamese place, i also wanted to try the banh mi with pork crakle. Was pretty good but very similar to any other Bahn mi I had in taste. Everything was cold including the meat which is great if you like your Bahn mi cold. I like it with warm meat. The bun was small, same size as the other Vietnamese place so same supplier I guess. They need to be longer. The portion or near was good considering the price, not a lot but the price was fair. Plenty veggies but a bit cold and dry. Owner seems very friendly. Other than that I did also have a pho. It was really really good. The brisket was really nice and it has a decent amount of meat and the flavour was spot on. On a negative side, the price rise of the menu is not really justified considering:

The restaurant doesn’t offer a proper AC inside and yes it gets super hot inside and only I tiny pedestal fan is running for such a big place There’s no chilled water offered There is eftpos card surcharge There’s very limited people serving you so best is to go to the desk and order

I just think this place is just taking advantage of...

I have eaten here twice now and won't be rushing back. Firstly the positives - Atmosphere is lovely with nice authentic looking bowls and cups. They do great Bao buns, Hanoi spring rolls, Bang Mi, and chicken fried rice.

Average - Although customer service was quick and well mannered, due to the language barrier there was some confusion trying to order, resulting in several orders coming out wrong. We ordered sweet and sour pork that although it tasted nice enough there was a too much tomato sauce flavour over powering the dish. The honey chicken was not what we expected and actually did not taste of honey at all. The side salad of pickled veg was not tasty at all, it was more like raw veg dipped in pickling juice.

Negative - Due to the language barriers while ordering one of our dining party completely missed out on her meal. One of our chicken orders was good at first however at the bone was horribly raw and bloody!!!!

I will not be going to dine in at this restaurant again however I may order take away Banh...

Very Authentic Viet food. It's rare to find such taste in regional towns. Got ambience too. I spoke to the owner (very friendly guy) and got to know they just took over the shop a couple weeks ago. We tried Bun Cha Ha Noi (the one Obama had when he visited Vietnam), vegetarian Pho noodle soup and vegetarian fried noodles. The Bun Cha is amazing, the best I've ever had!!! I would strongly recommend. The vegetarian pho is absolutely nice. The vegetarian fried noodles is on par too. They all came in generous portions. We were here for a 3 day long weekend (grand final) and ate at this shop 3 times. So you know how good it is!!
