This place used to do a really nice pizza and they started going down hill so we stopped going there the past 6 months and went elsewhere. Thought tonight we would give them ago again and honestly for a $30 large pizza meal deal with garlic bread and soft drink was a joke..We've had better pizza at Domino's and that's saying something..I'm no good critic but we order a large pizza half Atken st special and half Sopranos with apparently anchovies at a cost of another dollar but couldn't find any at all. The Atken st special was a joke and if I hadn't driven all the way home I would of taken it back. It was a pizza base with abit of cheese and ham sparingly sprinkled on it.. Tasteless... The other half was the so called Sopranos was exactly the same with the odd slice of mushroom, odd olive half cheese and ham.. Honestly we added some salt to get some taste going through it . We've never complained about anything. I wasn't going to say anything until my wife looked at me and I looked at her and we were both dumb founded how crap that pizza was.. If your looking for this kind of pizza just go to Domino's and get a crap $7 pizza ...Atleast you will get what you pay for..Bottle of coke was ok š Garlic bread wasnt even cooked ... I get Friday nights are busy but if you can't put the time and effort into what your giving customers for their money then close your doors or sell the pizzas for what they are.. Trying to post photos to back what I'm saying but there's no option in this review.. Goodluck and I hope things can pick...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe order a pizza to eat in car before our long drive back each weekend. We have kept trying to stay with Soprano's but the poor quality is now consistent so is time for us to cease being your customers. We got the hawaiian, it used to be AMAZING, now there's virtually no cheese on it, no exaggeration, I mean practically NO cheese , not sure if you even put any sauce on the base as cannot see it or taste it. There is ample pineapple but sadly that is mute when there's NO cheese to hold it in place and leaves a very bland pizza that usually tastes great with the right amount of cheese. Last night's pizza was pretty much dough and pineapple with a stingy sprinkle of ham, so we only had a slice each and went to Gisborne Pizza and Pasta instead, not only are their pizzas cheaper, the quality matches the price, unlike Sopranos who seem to be mocking their customers with high prices and less ingredients. Not impressed and won't be returning as we now have a new pizza place to go to. Stop being excessively stingy with your ingredients and you MIGHT get some...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe made the mistake of ordering a "Marinara" take away pizza last Sunday. Unfortunately it was by far the worst pizza we have ever had. The "seafood" added on top was probably a sorry mess of barely thawed marinara mix so wet when applied that the water had completely soaked through the base making this pizza inedible. We tried one piece each but could not eat any of it. I wanted to keep the mess and bring it down but being Sunday and Sopranos are not open on Mondays it had to go out. I know from previous experiences that Sopranos can make a reasonable (but not top) pizza. So please do something about this and stop producing such...
