Me and my friend placed an order at 7.38pm, says so on my transactions. All we ordered between us was 2 drinks and 1 entree to share (antipasto, no cooking involved). We waited a while, a lot of people left about 30 mins later and we were confused as to why our drinks at least were taking so long as there weren’t that many people there. 50 mins after ordering, we received our 2 drinks. An hour and 10 mins after ordering, the table next to us, who didn’t weren’t even sitting there when we ordered, received their food. I asked the waiter if he could check on our order. He came back with the docket that said our order was put through the till at 8.30. It was currently around 8.50. Whoever took my order didn’t put it through for a whole hour. I offered to show him the transaction to show how long ago I ordered. He said “I’ll go talk to the chef”. He came out with our entree instantly, no apology for the major mistake by whoever took my order, just dumped it on our table. Read moreI ordered a pizza from this restaurant at dinner on 29/3. It was a zucca with salami on a GF base. The price was $40.25! I've never paid that for a pizza. The dough was soggy and RAW with a laughable amount of toppings considering I paid for an extra topping to be added. The base tore like soggy bread. I took it back immediately. I would be happy to pay $40 for a pizza, but I expect it to be great and definitely not raw. It was good Friday, so there was a surcharge for that too, but clearly the chef does not care about the quality of pizzas they send out if they're happy to take over $40 and then send this out to a customer. Read moreFirst time at Stella's Bendigo Friday 8th March 24, being a chef myself and very fussy I found the restaurant to be clean, comfortable and a relaxing atmosphere, the staff were friendly and accomadating. We ordered Zingara pizza I asked the staff if I could make a few changes having some extra toppings nothing was to much trouble they accomadated to my add on. We also added a lovely fresh salad the rocket and parmisan and pear with balsamic reduction dressing ,well I have to say that was amazing very yummy and went well with our pizza that was cooked perfectly by the new young chef Tristan. The new chef was very friendly caring and very enthusiastic about the food he cooks.
