Overall it was one of the worst experiences we ever had.
Goods - nice decor and the tandoori chicken was good
Bads - everything other than that. We arrived at 640 and were immediately served with papdums (that was nice and quick) but had to wait 15 mins for the menu. The waiters looked clueless with even more than half the tables empty (the restaurant was busy as per the waiters lol, I won't call a restaurant to be busy unless there is atleast half an hour waiting) we got our entree (tandoori chicken) after around half an hour but I must admit it was good except for the raita sauce which was refrigerated for I don't know how long and it had a really plasticky taste of artificial colours. Any ways, the worst part was when after more than 1 hour 20 mins we were served with our main course and one of the dishes was literally 'uneatable'. We shared our experience but not a single person there apologised. I asked them to pack the remaining food and was asked to be seated and wait for it. We left the restaurant at 820 after waiting 10 mins for the food parcel (and still not getting the parcel) half our stomachs empty and a really bad mood on a Friday evening. Unfortunately we weren't the only ones who suffered such a bad service and...
Read moreWait, did you just say flavour??😳 wow, just WOW!!! thinking of that first time I ate in this restaurant, oh man!!! It’s almost 2 hrs drive but please, I would like to go back and taste more dishes they can offer!!! That chicken tikka is a bomb! It’s not just seasoned outside but also inside the chicken, like it’s marinated for hours and hours! That lamb and goat was sooo tender!! And their beryani rice is so simple but has a delicate taste. I mean I had beryani in some restaurants but they’re full of seasons, like very red-coloured-rice. And staff asked us if we want to try their desserts, who’s gonna say no to that! I always like kulfi since the first time I tried it🤤 and gulab jamun., sometimes I’m buying it from the local store. But I was surprised about the texture of their gulab jamun😳. And it’s not too sweet😳 like I can eat more that 2! 🤤🤣I always brag to my friend the flavour in Dandenong but wow! This one? I’m speechless. ! And I told my friend I will take them and show them what I was talking about because I can’t explain it! It’s all in my pallets 🤤😅I wish I could get an invite and do the taste test for ALL their menu’s. 🤤 and give a review for all of...
Read moreTaste the savings- bring gloves. Tardy service, below average food, shop bought starters and breads, food tasted old and not fresh, suspect the meat and fish was on the turn. Left most of the main dishes. Dirty toilets, cold and greasy plates, cloudy glasses. No Care given whatsoever in serving the food, wrong food brought to table, forgot the rice and had to remind then three times, over cooked rock hard cash and carry onion bhajis and tasteless carboard breads. A lovely bucket of filthy water outside the kitchen, can only imagine what the actual kitchen is like. Dirty toilets with a bin and toilet brush that need replacing. Tried to charge us for the incorrect food they brought to the table. Save your money and go elsewhere. No wonder this place was empty on a Saturday night. Now I can expect a defensive reply from the owners as this is how they seem to approach poor reviews, maybe deep clean your restaurant and employ an actual chef. I can cook better Indian food myself. No attention to detail with regard to any aspect of running a restaurant. So many fake 5* reviews-seriously. just...
