Wow! This place is me to a tee! I love pink, rustic and pretty, and this place had it all! I just couldn't stop looking at everything. Then there was the food. I had a tough choice between the banana buckwheat pancakes, vanilla waffles and French toast. (Heaps more, but they're the ones I wanted.) I went with pancakes. They looked so pretty and were yummy. Not too sweet which was perfect. Dad went with the French toast which was also delicious! My brother just had spelt sour dough toast with jam and butter and my mum had a hashbrown which was very tasty with relish. Presentation of all the food was beautiful! I was impressed with the metal straws. Even the toilets were pretty! (See photos) There were a few things for sale and I loved that they had set up some boomerang bags for people to borrow and return. The only thing I didn't like was my mug for my chai tea. I didn't like the handle as there was no hole to put your fingers through, and it was unglazed pottery. I hate the feeling of unglazed pottery. But I got over it! Definitely...

Got take away coffees here. The counter to order is a window by tables dining in- so was hard to get staffs attention but the waiters were lovely. We ordered 5 coffees and 4 babycinos a big order but not huge at all. It took an excessive amount of time, the barista he took his time, standing around chatting and just moved ever so slowly we were standing by the pick up counter just waiting as the coffees were being put in the tray we took one off and knowing you can't fit 4 coffees on the cup tray and instead of putting the 5th coffee in the tray he balanced it on the remaining cups? He then abruptly told us to move away and then 2seconds later says well what are you waiting for and signals us to take the coffee. And then shakes the marshmallows flippantly out of a container on the cup tray for the babycinos. The baristas customer service is non existent and is bringing the team down as everyone else...

The Sweet Meadow is my go-to spot in Echuca, and I absolutely love it! I eat here all the time, and it's always a fantastic experience. The food is simply amazing—everything is made from scratch, and you can really taste the quality and care that goes into each dish.

One of the standout features is the incredible selection of juices and smoothies. They are so refreshing and delicious, perfect for any time of the day.

The owner is a wonderful person, always kind and a delight to chat with. She genuinely supports local Echuca businesses, which makes dining here feel even more special.

I highly recommend The Sweet Meadow to anyone looking for delicious vegan food, homemade food and a warm, friendly atmosphere. This place is truly a gem! The pancakes are the best pancakes I've ever ate and the tofu scramble hits the...

This place typifies the mirage-like experience of a breakfast in a small town, which looks the part and is an insane disappointment on all fronts. The kind of place that sickens you to the core that you paid actual money for the experience. Took ages to get served, food and coffee took forever, and the wrong coffee was brought out, then when it was replaced, it had been spilt down both sides and was pooling on the saucer, which is awesome if you like your coffee to drip on your clothes. I got a wrap that tasted like nothing, despite a list of ingredients. I would bet my reproductive organs this had been made about 3 days prior.

An excellent plant based cafe in Echuca. They do have some non vegan options ie. Milk and eggs however I prefer to try items aligned with the original intent of this cafe. I have to say that the tofu scramble mimics eggs very well. It was very impressive. The "kim chi" was less convincing but as a pickled vegetable it was a nice flavour. I'm still not convinced on the smokey strips but it's been a mainstay on their menu for 5 years so I think it must be popular with the regulars. All in all, this a great, reasonably priced friendly plant based cafe in Echuca.
