Two Kings Burger – Decent Burgers, Lacking Flavor & Comfort ★★★☆☆
I ordered the Two Kings Classic and SGT Pepper Cheeseburger—both were okay (★★★☆☆), but they lacked seasoning and spice, making them feel a bit bland. While the ingredients seemed fresh, neither burger had a standout flavor. A well-seasoned patty or a signature sauce could have made a big difference.
Service was also average (★★★☆☆). The staff were efficient but not particularly welcoming—no smiles or friendly interaction, which made the experience feel a bit cold. Additionally, there were no wooden knives available, which would have been useful for takeaway customers.
It’s worth noting that this is a takeaway-only shop with no indoor seating. On a hot day, the only option is to sit outside, which isn’t the most comfortable experience. A shaded area or better seating arrangements would improve the overall atmosphere.
Overall, while the burgers were decent, a few improvements in flavor, service, and comfort could make Two Kings Burger a much better spot for a quick...
Read moreAfter years of reigning supreme, a particular American burger place based in Geelong has finally come second to Two Kings Burgers. Making it the best in Victoria, in my opinion. We had the SGT Pepper and Hail Ceasar. I am a very well experienced burger consumer and this dominates anything I’ve had burger wise!
The SGT: The milk buns were toasted perfectly, patties were cooked medium well (how a patty should be), perfect.
The Ceasar: The butter milk chicken was cooked very well, juicy and the batter had a perfect thickness and flavour. Sauces and elements worked perfectly together.
However, the fifth star is missing because the chips need work. You guys need to create a house seasoning for the chips. Currently, it’s just salt. Plain and simple can be good but to match the quality of the burgers you produce, you need to improve those chips.
The staff were obviously polite and were very timely with the workload they had, with it being a Saturday...
Read moreFood was excellent, portions are super generous, and everything is reasonably priced.
However; my friend ordered a "Two Kings Classic" and apparently that translates to "two (x2) Kings Classics". So I got charged for an extra burger we didn't actually ask for. I'm a millennial we can't afford buying random food please 😂
My only suggestion would be change the name of "Two Kings Classic" to "TK Classic"/"Classic"/etc to avoid future confusion, and make sure you check with your customer to confirm, and/or have another screen customers can see to make sure everything is correct.
Plus when confronted with "We ordered a Two Kings Classic, not Two Two Kings Classics", maybe own up to your mistake instead of standing there like a deer in the headlights. It's a dumb mistake, we're not after your first born as...
