It was a humid and stormy night when we arrived to our booking at the Bull’s Head Hotel. Perhaps I should’ve recognised this as a divine omen to abandon my plans and stay home. Nevertheless, a birthday was to be celebrated and we soldiered on into the establishment. We received a greatly appreciated margherita pizza on the house, and our server was attentive and kind. I am an apprehensive diner because I have a few allergies, and on this occasion, I was right to be. I informed the staff of my allergies and was assured the calamari salad was safe. We ordered the Roasted Cauliflower with Cheese Sauce and the Wood Fired Garlic Prawn Pizza and we could not fault either! Both were hot, delicious and incredibly filling! Only recommendation would be to put some music on within the restaurant as the quiet makes everyone focus on each other’s conversations. That said, the staff were extremely attentive and the service was 10 out of 10. We would most definitely...
