Pika Sushi - Authentic Japanese Cuisine and Takeaway in Warragul — Restaurant in Warragul

So I came in for the 1st time. I browsed thoroughly to try to work out what I wanted -no pricing & only 1 or 2 tagged what they were in the sushi cabinet made this difficult, too, while trying to be on a budget. The lady was making herself busy while I explained I'm just browsing at the moment. When I was ready to be served I got a chicken karagee, smoked salmon & cream cheese, prawn & a sweet chilli squid. I also got one of the crispy chicken on top of rice with sauces over it (not sure what it's called) Chicken thing with sauces - not bad but sauces were too much for me Karagee chicken - chicken was dry, crispy coating was nice but roll was just missing something Prawn - the seaweed was tough. Sweet chilli squid - was like rice was bathed in the sweet chilli sauce Smoked salmon & cream cheese - YUM! A firm fav no matter where I go but the salmon was quite hearty in this one. Coming in at a total of almost $18 I found it a tad expensive however it's not something I have all the time. Would I return? Probably not in a hurry but if/when I do I will stick to the smoked salmon & cream cheese...

Went into pika sushi in Warragul for dinner, a few nights back. Got absolute disgusting service from man named Lachie I believe, No regard for good customer service, quite a nasty attitude as if he did not want to be there. Waited a decent amount of time for food. When I had been eating . He decided to start vacuuming making the atmosphere, For me and the few other customers feel not pleasant when eating. Really good lunches but dinner was a swing and a miss. We ordered 2 ramen bowls and sushi platters. The ramen was quite nice and found it really flavourful but the sushi really was a let down. We’ve had sushi from Pika quite a few times for lunch and it has always been yummy but tonight it was just so dense. There was way too much rice especially for nigiri and it tasted wrong.
