Dragon Inn Restaurant — Restaurant in Warrnambool

Well we are from Adelaide. We've come to Melbourne for a holiday & have come to Warnambool for a day to see relatives. I felt like Chinese tonight 27 July 2025. Well my partner ordered Singapore noodles & she said it wasn't Singapore noodles. I ordered special fried rice & sweet n sour pork. Well there was that much pork it wasn't funny, it was greasy & not nice at all. The sweet n sour sauce was way too sweet & made it not enjoyable one bit. Then I ordered 2 large spring rolls & they were very average at best. They were again greasy & oily & not edible. So we definitely won't be back next time we are in Warnambool, the food was average at best. I gave 1 star cos the only yum thinkg was the prawn crackers. So this is the first time we have tried this restaurant, and I ordered Singapore noodles. They were not Singapore noodles, they weren’t even vermicelli noodles. They were just thin noodles which weren’t even Asian. I’ve never had Singapore noodles with capsicum either. Don’t get me wrong, this didn’t taste bad, but I did not feel like I was eating authentic Singapore noodles. My partner ordered the sweet-and-sour pork, and was given a massive box of deep fried pork pieces, and a very small container of sweet-and-sour sauce and vegetables and it just didn’t do the meal justice. I’m sorry but we were not impressed with our meals. On another note, the staff were lovely, and the service and atmosphere was great, but this Asian restaurant just was lacking...

If I could give zero stars I would. After waiting for an hour for food to arrive, what came out was inedible. Once the food was served I ended up with an overpriced meal that I had one bite of and left the restaurant hungry. The rice was far too dry and without a drink you would choke on. In the end when leaving the restaurant the staff didn't even ask how the meal was, this was after seeing the meal was hardly touched. My hot tip if you do happen to try this place (even after reading this review) is don't order garlic prawns unless you want a dish of boiled onions with couple prawns scattered throughout (I wish I was exaggerating here but I’m not).
