Tl;dr Unsatisfied customer. Spent $120 on subpar food. Left the venue starving and more agitated than when I arrived. Wanted to try this place as it seemed promising based on the reviews. The three of us dined in for dinner on Saturday night, with fairly high expectations, after all, we don’t usually eat out on weekdays, deliberately “saving” calories for the weekend. Unfortunately, those calories and the $120 spent would have been far better used elsewhere. The food was, frankly, not worth the wait nor the price. After what felt like an eternity, the entrees (chips and calamari, nothing complex) finally appeared around 6:15, despite us sitting down at 5:40. Out of sheer hunger, we tried to stay optimistic and eat them, assuming the mains would follow shortly. They did not. The mains trickled out closer to 6:40, and by then we had already lost most of our patience — only to be greeted with what they called pasta, which tasted remarkably like the burnt bottom of a pan. The pizza was limp and soggy, with a bizarre mix of flavours that raised the question of whether anyone in the kitchen had actually tasted it before serving. For a restaurant with a very Italian name, the food was, ironically, anything but Italian. The only redeeming dish was the chips — or, as they proudly call them, “patatine.” Why those chips were considered “authentically Italian” was never made clear, but I suppose one has to appreciate the effort in creative labeling. It became quickly apparent that the restaurant was overwhelmed by juggling Uber Eats orders alongside dine-in customers. With just two waitstaff on the floor, the atmosphere inside was less “authentic Italian dining” and more “Gordon Ramsay reality show in progress.” I sincerely hope they can get things together before it comes to that, because at present, it’s rather appalling — and honestly a little embarrassing — to run a restaurant while serving food of such noticeably poor quality.

What looks like a house converted into a restaurant lies this Italian 🇮🇹 theme restaurant in Carlisle. It felt homey but we did takeaway on their food and it was pretty tasty. The dishes are a bit on the smaller side and the pizza’s are a tad smaller than usual. But for wood fired pizza 🍕 it was good. But don’t know about taking it home, the pizzas got stuck to the bottom of the cardboard box. A minor gripe but pretty satisfied with the food. Also the spaghetti carbonara is pretty tasteless and tastes like eating cream. Maybe better to eat there as the pizza doesn’t really hold up for a 45 minute drive back home 🏠

Lived up to the expectations, in my top 5 for pizzas in perth, the bufalina was my favourite, creamy cheese, just enough acidity in the base and the crust was just the right thickness so as it didnt go soggy. The gongonzola gnocchi has set the benchmark for me for gnocchi in perth now, soft, handmade delicious. The desserts are equally as good, tiramisu was delicious but the bonet chocolate pudding with amaretto was the stand out, the amaretto was apparent but didnt overpower, the chocolate was the same in terms of presence and was a good serving and the VALUE was incredible for what I payed.

Ordered online via the website a a while ago and paid. Then receive a call saying they do not have any delivery drivers tonight.. And I am welcome to come in and pick up the order. Ok number 1.. this is extremely incompetent of a business claiming they deliver pizzas. But hey I bit the bullet even though it was extremely inconvenient to come in, hence searching for a delivery..I went in. I was told my pizza would be ready in 45 mins so I came in 45 mins later and was told my order would be another 20 mins.. there were no other pizzas except the second pizza on my order and nobody in the restaurant. And whats even worse there were delivery drivers there leaving as I arrived (not Uber eats). It was upsetting and I made a note never to order from here again. However I stupidly decided to order agsin last week. Big mistake. Made the order online and paid, the same as last time. I receive a phone call saying they do not have the gluten free base which is on my order. Once again there is a problem.. And if I would like to be refunded and it will take 3-5 business days to return in my account.. So I agreed. This was a week ago now and called several ti es and keep getting told someone will call me back.. Still no one has called back. Extremely depressing what a great business this once used to be and how it has now been run into the ground by mis management, a total disreguard for its customers and rude brush off service Looks like its going to the ACCC as this is not the first time a business is breaching its legal obligations to its customers and needs a wake up call thaf they are to continue and be successful, and not just a hang out for staff to refuse business to its customers. This is coming from someone who has 20 years experience in the local hospitality scene. Not good guys get your you know...

Sadly, I won’t be coming back to this place.

Ordered 2 pizzas over the phone for pickup on Friday 28th May 2021. I came to collect and had to wait another 10 minutes past my pickup time, did not complain.

I ordered a San-Daniele and Sabrina-Ferilli pizza which according to their menu online should come up to $47 though I was charged $49, again did not complain.

I get home and check my pizza’s and find that what should have been the San-Daniele looks like a plain cheese and sauce pizza.

At this point I am a bit annoyed and call up the restaurant to let them know about the above issues and give them the opportunity to resolve them. They apologised for the mix up of pizzas, apparently the San-Daniele which looks like a cheese and sauce pizza should have been topped with the prosciutto and rocket once out of the oven. And they have also updated their prices but haven’t reflected this on their website yet.

My options where to either return to the restaurant for a replacement or get a refund as they did not have a delivery driver working that night. I requested a refund and they advised that it would be processed at the end of the night after dinner service.

The cheese and sauce pizza which was basically a margherita without the basil was delicious, with lovely chewy dough and nice colour. But the toppings on the Sabrina-Ferilli pizza were disappointing, mushrooms weren’t great, and the hot salami was awfully bitter and tough.

I was at the very least expecting a refund for the difference between a San-Danielle and a Margherita, but 2 weeks have passed now and no refund has been processed.

Was really hoping to give this place another chance if they had...
