Apauling food and service. Ordered a small chips dine-in to share with my daughter and a small bottle of soft drink for myself and it cost almost $12! The chips arrived at table cold, soggy and unsalted and I wasn’t offered a glass or even a straw for my drink. When we didn’t finish said chips and asked to take them away (don’t know why we even bothered prob because I was so mortified to have paid so much for something we hadn’t even eaten!) they were shoved in a small brown paper bag; no cup or container even tho these were sitting on counter directly in front of the thrifty server. My husband and myself just dined in at this place for their lunch “special” of Omelette wrap and coffee for 13.95. Take away price of 9.95. So for $4 extra per serve it’s on a plate !!😳 I know when I have been to other cafes with take away vs dine in options the dine in option usually is dressed up with a little side salad. i asked for a straw but an employee was rude and told me to go to hungry jacks cus my drink was from hungry jacks and the paper straw was soggy. i thought he was joking but he actually didnt give me a straw. he said that "if i ordered from hungry jacks, you should get the straw from hungry jacks" i told him that their straws were weak and he said "they dont charge much" anyway.
