Cold Rock Ice Creamery Joondalup — Restaurant in Western Australia

Literally first review I’ve ever done which tells you how bad this experience was. I asked for a hot rock sundae. The guy serving had no idea how to make it (which is ok because everybody has to learn somehow but I should have know this was going to be a bad experience from there). He asked me three seperate times what two ice creams I told him. They had no hot fudge but he didn’t tell me that before he started my order (in which case I would have ordered something else), he said he put chocolate sauce on instead (without asking first if I wanted that) but I was watching the entire time and he didn’t (why lie?). I double checked once I got to my car as I couldn’t imagine why he’d lie about it and there wasn’t any. It took ages to make which was wild to me as there was nobody else in the store. The whipped cream was deflated and like slurry as he put it on and was mush before I even got to my car. The brownie was a tiny piece of stale cake at best and the icecream was incredibly watery and icy (with ice particles) and not thick or creamy and melted almost instantly. Paid $11.30 for this! What a joke! Whilst this is kids size - the volume was probably 3 tsp of ice cream and the guy literally put (for the 3 for $5 toppings), ONE Malteser! TWO pieces of gummies and a few marshmallows (I don’t recall amount but can guarantee you it was around the same low number!). At least make the ice cream level with the cup and not skimp on things! This place is hit and miss on who you get, and the staff always look bored. Last night he almost gave me white chocolate instead of vanilla and overall the service is disappointing and annoying! I didn’t want to cause a scene as my son was just excited to have his treat but seriously you’re better off going elsewhere for dessert...

I went to cold rock Tuesday night, 15th of July, your store advertises that you close at 9pm how ever when I arrived at 8:13pm. The staff member managing the store had already closed everything down and proceeded to hide away in the back room when I approached the store. I was in my car when I watched the same girl leave.
